11  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Pin Cushion Swap Round 4 on: November 22, 2006 05:11:55 PM
I received my wonderful package from princessandthebead last night. I mentioned to her that I share her love of sheep. She made me two great pincushions (love that covered button) as well as a ton of other goodies. A very cool key chain (love the shinky sheep with my name on it), the cutest sheep shrinky pins (the black one made me laugh out loud), and a neat-o sheep ornament. You did good girl! Thank you for making my first Crafster swap such a lovely experience. I had a great time, and couldn't have asked for a better partner. Thank you so much!!!

12  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: Winter coat/jacket sewalong on: November 21, 2006 08:48:16 AM
I ordered some boucle tweed and am anxiously waiting for it to arrive. I plan on making a topper coat with Simplicity Threads 4403. First clothing project with an honest to goodness store bought pattern. Wish me luck.

D.I. Winer-- I LOVE that collar!

YAY! I am so glad you like them. I saw the froggie pen at target and could not pass it up. I have had a great time with my first swap, and I can see it becoming addictive. Thank you for the kind words, and I hope you enjoy your new pincushions.
15  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: The Princess And The BackPack (IMAGE HEAVY) on: November 19, 2006 05:19:27 PM
Would you believe I was just looking for a doggie backpack at Petco last night? The backpacks (with added weight) are supposed to give an extra work out, to doggies on their walks. And my fattie rottie sure needs that. Wow, it never even dawned on me to make one, and I am always saying " I could make that!" Anyway great job. I would love to read more about how you constructed it.
16  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / New Year's Resolutions Swap on: November 16, 2006 02:48:44 PM
I think it would be fun to have a new years resolutions swap. Those who joined could list their resolution(s), and their partner would craft something to help them keep it. I think this could be really fun and interesting, and heck you might even be able to help change someone's life for the better. What do you guys think?

I am sending princessandthebead's package today. It seems that I am lagging behind, because so many people have already sent and received such great pincushions. Mindy I hope you get your package lightning fast, and I hope you enjoy!
