2  Crafted Gifts--purse-necklace-pouches-scarf-food-- (complete w/ photos) in Winter Holidays by leaguegirl on: December 25, 2006 07:09:35 AM
First up is a glass marble necklace set. I made three sets for different friends. I made up the glass marble pendants, and thought to myself, I need a pretty way to package them up. I stumbled upon neat little unfinished wood boxes at the craft store, and thought hey, those would be just right. So I decoupaged the sliding top with pretty paper and painted the rest. I then made a removeable board to hold/display the pendants. The top two photos are of the same finished set and the bottom is the box for the next set I made. I am pretty pleased with how they turned out.

Next up are cute little 15 minute coin pouches. Super easy and sized just right for coins or cards.

Now for some tacky kitchy goodness. A pom pom and felt scarf.

A pretty hobo bag made from runnermom100863's tute here on Craftster. I lucked up on finding the fabrics on two different occasions from the remnant bin at the fabric store.

And now for the food. Yum

Turtle bites

And Peppermint Bark

Sorry if the post is too big. Since today is Christmas, most of these have been given away already, and were very well received. It makes it all worth it! Merry Christmas! Cheesy

3  Re: Pin Cushion Swap Round 4 in The Swap Gallery by leaguegirl on: November 22, 2006 05:11:55 PM
I received my wonderful package from princessandthebead last night. I mentioned to her that I share her love of sheep. She made me two great pincushions (love that covered button) as well as a ton of other goodies. A very cool key chain (love the shinky sheep with my name on it), the cutest sheep shrinky pins (the black one made me laugh out loud), and a neat-o sheep ornament. You did good girl! Thank you for making my first Crafster swap such a lovely experience. I had a great time, and couldn't have asked for a better partner. Thank you so much!!!

7  Re: froo froo and piggy bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by leaguegirl on: November 12, 2004 02:46:45 PM
Thanks for the kind words. I made the little pig out of some felt that I had. I
got pretty bummed out when I was doing the final ironing of the bag because I scorched the little guy---What was I thinking?!? Hot iron and felt don't mix that well--dur! Oh well he is still pretty cute in my book. Here's a close up pic.

9  froo froo and piggy bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by leaguegirl on: November 11, 2004 03:55:03 PM
Geez I hope this picture thing works!

The first bag is an ultra super girlie lacy thing. It makes me think of something Aunt Bea would carry fried chicken in to a Sunday picnic.

I don't know if you can tell from the pictures but the lace is layered on the outside

The inside is white withe red polka dots.

The next is one I just finished for my friend for xmas(she likes pigs). The outside is b&w houndstooth with a pig applique(my first applique attempt) and the inside is the same red and white polka dots.

Ok I previewed the post and I think the pictures will work(woohoo!!!)
Anyway I hope you like, thanks for looking!
