41  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / A few things... on: December 03, 2006 09:36:53 AM
While I was cleaning today, I found some interesting things that I need a little help with...

-Manilla folders ( I use them to file but who needs over 1,000!?)

-Magazine Postcards (like the ones to subscribe)

-a pub mix container (that I used to hold pens but I just made a cute little pen tin)

-Pearl Tampon Box (I saw a cute idea on craftbits to make a storage box but I'm looking for some more ideas to play with)

-big birthday envelopes with gold lining (we use them at work and every defected one or with mistakes, I take them home)

-tons of vintage post cards (a friend and i always send postcards to each other while she's in school...but I have so many duplicates it's ridiculous)

-stamp like stickers from first financial bank (with cats, and buildings...I can't seem to part with it)

-animal stickers and cards that I got from an endangered species rally...including car decals

-tons of colored paper (regular printer paper that I've collected from being a Graphic Artist)

-regular folders (I needed to get 200 for a seminar I was hosting but only ended up needing 70)

-mini calendar stickers (each month for 2007)

-post-it's galore! (I was looking for the post-it thread here but couldn't find it and I have a post-it addiction)

-catalogs (tons of new age ones and fire mountain gems--I was thinking of cutting out what I want and posting it in my inspiration notebook)

-Christmas card boxes (a few of them I want to use for shadow boxes because they are big enough...but I went and bought a ton of cards and have about a dozen small boxes)

-a black hat with silver sequins (got it at I-Party and can't seem to part with it...it was part of my Halloween costume, but I hate it laying around)

-a tackle box (I was using it to store beads but now I have my beads in pill bottles labeled by type)

-millions of shoe boxes (I already have a closet full of things organized, but I love the cardboard of the shoe box and want to use them for something)

That's all I can think of now.  Any ideas would help!  Thanks!
42  UNITED STATES / Massachusetts / Crafters in Souther Worcester County (Southbridge, Sturbridge, Charlton) on: November 30, 2006 03:05:53 PM
I notice that no one posted anything from Worcester County much.  I was wondering if there was anyone in the area that would be interested in getting together and kind of "partnering up" in crafts. I'm into all sorts of things and am interested in starting a business hopefully.  Let me know!
