What do you think?

They have even infiltrated our beverages:

And destabilized our very ability to drink coffee.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knit hats! on: December 26, 2006 05:12:44 PM
Some Christmas hats I made for my office mates:

In red:

And blue:

They were super easy - I used Naturwolle for the brim & pom-pom and GGH Maxima (double stranded) for the top of the red hat, and Noro Kochoran for the brim and Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (double stranded) for the top of the blue hat.  This was a great way to use up partial skeins and leftovers!
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Amigirlrumi - Amigurumi doll on: December 26, 2006 06:44:07 AM
Here's my new gal - I just made her on Christmas Eve:

She's hanging out on our porch (where the natural light is...)

This was my first doll amigurumi - I am so addicted to amigurumi now!!! Grin

Hi there!  Here is my second amigurumi - a little polar bear that I made for christmas.

He's so great - we only just met and he is already helping me with my dissertation:

I didn't have a pattern or anything - but this time I did use glass eyes...
Enjoy!
