21  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Easy Peasy Swap 2 - Signups 4/17-5/8 - Sendouts 5/30 CLOSED !!!! on: May 24, 2009 11:05:48 AM
I'm about 60% done, and chugging steadily along. (I have two torn ligaments in my right wrist, with a side of tendinitis, so I have to go much slower than I normally would, but oh well.)

I've been feeling a bit under the weather for the past few days, so no progress on the item. :/ I'll spend the weekend at out summer cottage, where there's absolutely nothing to do. Hopefully I can get some crafting done there! (And studying. I've been neglecting the textbook pretty thoroughly. Tongue )

I'd say I'm about 35% done on my medium, and have a few ideas for my smalls. Smiley I really hope reuse will like what I'm making.

I'm about 25% done, I think. I took a break to work on an item for another swap, but I think I'll come back to this tomorrow. Smiley

I'm working on my item, and have realised that I might have to make a quick change of plans, because OMG this thing will take forever. I keep forgetting that lace and I have a History, and that I really truly can't knit all that much every day. :/ I cannot wait until I have my surgery and can stop worrying about my wrist.

I'm done with the preliminary design stuff for my item. I just need to dig up the yarn and needles and get started. Cheesy

I haven't even dug my materials from my stash yet. I'll probably get started on the other swap I'm doing first, mostly because the thing I'm considering will take a fair amount of designing, and digging through pattern books and stitch dictionaries. I'm very excited though - I would never wear something like this, but I think it's going to be fabulous.

I received a wonderful little owl from purlgurl today! His name is Erdos, and I love him to bits. Cheesy

Shown here reclining on my calculator. Cheesy (Real mathematicians don't need fancy graphing calculators, yo.) I'm guessing that he's named for Paul Erds, the mathematician? Because that would be kind of awesome.

There were also some pretty stitch markers and two wonderful little sock keychains. Thank you so much, purlgurl! I absolutely adore everything!
