(Sorry for the sort-of-crap photo. Click for a bigger version on Flickr.)
A bangle/bracelet/cuff thing, covered with newspaper. It's made with the inner cardboard tube of a toilet paper roll, some leftover yarn, strips of newspaper, an old button, clear nail polish, staples, and glue. Lots of glue.
I made it large enough to slip over my hand, but it somehow shrunk when I sealed it with the nailpolish. (No seriously, I could get it on just fine after padding it with yarn.) So I performed some emergency surgery and added a closure.

I threaded some almost-white yarn through the button, applied generous amounts of glue, and made a loop by braiding some of the same not-quite-white yarn.
I took a tonne of pictures while making the bangle, so if anyone wants a tutorial, just holler.
And then I managed to get my paws on some earring hooks and some jumprings! After I danced the happy dance, I made these.

Painfully simple button earrings. I had a lot of trouble finding a pair of small enough buttons; apparently I bought the smallest jump rings known to man. (Modelled by my insanely kicky wellington boots. Rainy days have never been this much fun.
)How many of you do/know of NaNoWriMo? This is my fourth year doing it, and since I pretty much live on tea and noveling for the month of November, these seemed appropriate.

(My camera has the worst macro I've ever seen. Gah.) Those are little porcelain teacups with little pink roses. Eee, so cute! (Displayed on a sweater-in-progress, which is, in reality, a nice shade of antique rose or something like that.)
And like that's not enough, I made an earring holder from an old vinyl record.

Now, it's supposed to be one of the self-standing ones, but it, well, isn't. It's weighed down by a snow globe.
(The sharpest of you might also notice that I haven't poked holes throughout. I got lazy.)Er. Sorry for the tl;dr and general rambliness. (My first post ever. I hope I didn't screw anything up. *bites nails*)
