I know this isn't craft related, but I DEFINITELY need some opinions on this. Our school has a no-facial piercing dress code for some odd reason, but it's never been strictly forced. The principal has stopped me a few times about my nose ring, but just gave me a warning and told me not to wear it again. But today during breakfast he stopped me and told me if I didn't take it out I would be written upand given 20 demerits. I know this sounds childish but tons of other girls walk around with their piercings and he says not a word to them!?! So tomorrow I've decided I WILL wear my nose ring and I WILL NOT take it out. He'll just have to write me up. Am I right in 'protesting' this or should I just let it go? I mean, a simple nose ring is not disrupting anything or hurting anybody, so why shouldn't they be allowed? PLEASE give me your opinions on this matter!
