2  IMG heavy- Shrink Plastic Pendants in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Queen of the Savages on: September 22, 2007 09:36:48 AM
Lately I've been making tonnes of shrinky dinks.
I get the pictures from various google image searches. I can't take credit for the incredible artwork.

I totally stole the design for the heart piano pendant from here. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=169748.0
I gave it to my sister.

This is my personal favourite, it gets a lot of strange looks.

And with a penny for size, the CRAFTSTER logo.
I wear it in hopes of finding a fellow craftster.

Let me know what you think, please.

3  Swallow Stencilled Camera Case in Stenciling: Completed Projects by Queen of the Savages on: September 15, 2007 02:53:39 PM
I started out with a boring camera case. Label on the front- bleh.
Seam ripper + stencil + old purple fabric paint
VOILA

And a close up-

The second photo shows the colours the best.

I wish I could remember where I got the stencil from to reference it, but it was a photobucket collection of everything organized by category- very handy!

4  Re: Whats your favorite "quickie craft"? in Discussion and Questions by Queen of the Savages on: June 27, 2007 03:23:17 PM
Just like a few people mentioned, SHRINKY DINKS!
I love 'em.

I am on a shrinky dink binge right now.
I make pendants for necklaces.
Like so:

It's just a tracing of a googled image on shrink plastic, hole punched, and popped into the oven.
Attach a split ring and cord.
VOILA.
Less than 20 minutes.

What I've been making is shrinky dink charms and attatching them with a jump ring to a simple black cord ajustable knot necklace thing.

6  Re: A handy dandy pen roll... in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Queen of the Savages on: June 23, 2007 05:44:01 PM
So, I made one for my sharpies too.
Unfortunately I have NO ribbon. At all.
So it lacks a closure.
I am thinking about velcro. I have some of that. Smiley

My moderate sharpie collection. Smiley

And...

My favourite fabric.

Thank you SO much, Lady Llanalla, for inspiring me, and saying how easy it was.
I would have never tried this if I hadn't seen your gorgeous one. Kiss

Thank you Piratecore!!

Yellow is my favourite colour, and now I have three new yellow buttons. They are a rainbow of love in my button jar. I'd have to say the big yellow, the purple, and the red are my favourites. It is really hard to pick favourites.
Thanks again.

This swap is over, it was awesome. Thanks to missamorphosis for organizing, and everyone for participating. I love buttons!

I just have to receive from Piratecore!

Here are the ones I have so far:

I love all the buttons so much, I don't even want to use them. I will post more about how much I love them tomorrow. Headacheeeee.

Thank you for being so patient with me, this wasn't the best week to go away.

10  against Animal Cruelty in Shoes: Completed Projects by Queen of the Savages on: April 04, 2007 08:12:56 PM
I whipped these up the night before the circus came to town.
My friends and I protested.
Animal circuses  Angry

I hope this isn't considered too political. Focus on crafting!

I apologize for the dirty shoes and poor picture skills.

EDIT: Hurrah for size ten feet!
