This is the first year my kids have been old enough to do the ToT thing, and DD adores Cinderella, so easy easy decision The blue fabric is a sheet from Salvation Army, and I free-handed it using a current dress as a guide. I don't at all expect to win, but would love some crafty encouragement
I have a quilt my great-grandmother made. It's very "depression era" like. Made totally with scraps of old clothing (lots of red corduroy!) and the "batting" is actually what appears to be old flannel shirts. I know this because it's falling apart Is there anyway I can restore this to usable condition? I can take pictures if it will help
Looking for size 3T. I have SO much cute fabric I need to get sewing, now that my diaper sewing days are over. I don't want a pillowcase dress, more of something like this:
It's a fitted using the fattycakes pattern. A snap press is on the way to me, so no fasteners, yet! JA flannel inner and outer with an internal microfiber soaker and a lay-in soaker of microfiber topped with flannel.
Forgive the mess, I was just gifted a bunch of clothes and am sorting them! This pic shows how well it fits her chunky thighs!
I want to bless a friend of mine with some quilts for her kiddos. I'm thinking baby/crib size. my only thing is, she is SUPER SUPER creative and I can't give her just a bunch of fabric sewn together. Does anyone have any recommendations for me?
for my DS due in May!!! It is NB size, and I don't think I'll be attempting many more of these! They are SOOOO tiny!!! This was also my first appliqué project
Ok, I REALLY want to try making my own pockets/covers from fleece...but do they really work? My only source for fabric is Joanns as of now, and I'd like to go get some before it is all gone for the summer.
DD2 is a SUPER SOAKER if there ever was one, and I just can't see FLEECE keeping dry...
I have 1 child visiting her dad and 1 bun in the oven. The puff paint is still drying, and I will add some sort of trim along the edge of the skirt, I just haven't found something i LOVE yet, and since this will be around a long time...
I plan to do the kids hands each year, but mine and DH's just this once.
