I think that is violating the copyright.   Huh  Joanns has them on sale for $1 every now and then...

Dotto scrapbooking adhesive is what I used.  I love that stuff.  I measured and cut the paper first, attached, then trimmed as needed.

So funny.  I JUST did a mock up of this (out of Muslin) the night before last.  It is a LOT bigger than I thought it was going to be.  I plan on making one out of corduroy.

As a COMPLETE slef-taught novice, The instructions seemed a bit confusing.  But, I'm also very impatient Smiley  I didn't even attempt to line the bag since I knew it was just for practice, so we'll see if I can get the hang of that when it comes time.

But, the end result was worth it!  Good luck, and be sure to post photos when you are done!!!

My daughter has had a student teacher this year (3rd grade), but her last day is today.  Her teacher suggested each student bring in one small "teacher-esque" item (paper, pens, stickers, etc.) and they will put everything in a big gift basket and give it to her.  I thought that was a great idea, as I know teachers tend to spend a lot of their own money on small supplies like this.

anywho...this is what we (as in I) made for her out of a plain composition notebook ~ ~ ~

The back is the same, but without the sticker and writing.

I fixed the letters I messed up before I sent it, and I changed the paper in the pen to match the bottom of the notebook because it showed up better.  Anyway, it took an hour.   Smiley

but not really.  It's teal satin, and THIN.  I want to use it as trim on a tote bag I have made, like around the edge of the pocket flaps and such.  Help!!!

that's such a great idea! we're having a baby (in june...lots of time) and i'm trying to craft as much as i can so i don't have to buy tons of stuff. Smiley stupid question...what's PUL?

PolyUrathaineLaminante.

NO idea if I spelled or spaced that correctly, but that is how it sounds when you say it Smiley  It is used in making covers for cloth diapers.  I'm sure it has other uses, to, but that is how I was introduced to it.  If you search the internet for diaper supplies, you will find some places that sell PUL.  I've bought "scraps" of it off of moms who make diapers.  You can also have PUL put on the back of just about any fabric, but I don't know where or how.

Lot's of help that is, huh?  Roll Eyes

P.S.  If you still need to stash bust, here's a free online pattern I found today for bibs - I'm making a few from flannel for a girlfriends grandson ... http://www.poopockets.com/free/bibs/bibs.htm

Did you create the whole thing?  I have never seen a calendar like this!  What a fantastic idea!

Nope.  It is by Close To My Heart.  Blank, it is about $9, then you add everything at the top.
