1  Brown Alexander Henry Summer Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by DangitDana on: May 28, 2009 12:07:21 PM
I make things but never post them. Boo.

I made this over the last two days. I don't have anything going on, I'm living with my husband in the in-laws house, so basically....there's not much else to do.
This is from Simplicity 3875, but I combined the two top/sleeve styles. I like the set in sleeve much better. And I'm in love with this fabric. : )
Also, please forgive me for these fugly photos.( I just woke up. Ha)

2  I procrastinate posting- some dresses in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by DangitDana on: March 25, 2008 09:22:05 PM
I made these both FOREVER ago. I should probably post them though. ha.
The first is a teal stretch knit. I kind of messed up on the back. Sorry its so blurry!!

This was a New Look pattern. 6657 I think. Its labeled easy, and it really was. I kind of wish it was a little less full. But I used a kind of stiff linen. I plan on making it again with on of the variations, in a lighter fabric.

please excuse how much of a joker i look like. ha.

3  Ready for some Wintery weather in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by DangitDana on: February 16, 2007 08:40:54 PM
I got this teal THING at the thrift. It was shapeless, but so so soft. And it basically had the worst, most horrid shoulder pads ever. Ugh.
I took it in, shortened the sleeves and made them gathered and banded just to give them a little shape. Made it more fitted and of COURSE took out those darn shoulder pads. It became this. (PS, i'm not preg, just fat from winter. Ha, ew)(PSS- sorry they're blury, I guess i got excited, ha)

This was HUMONGOUS, seriously like a 3x. I just made it smaller and more fitted, the gathered raglan sleeves were a pain to figure out though. Silly me forgot to take a before sorry...(the belt's not part of it)
