31  HELP! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by jesa on: May 09, 2007 07:43:21 AM
ok, my dd's friend is turning 2 on Saturday, I made this bunny for her, but I am not sure if I love it or not. suggestions? should I take the pink face off and simply do button eyes? I woke up this morning and I like her a lot more than when I went to bed last night, so she is growing on me, but I want her to love it. thanks

32  Re: "___" In A Box Swap Round 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by jesa on: April 26, 2007 12:38:43 PM
I am putting up the pics I took of TheLilCrochet's box before I sent it, I know she has been very busy with school and I know it got to her via the USPS~so I figured I'd just pop 'em up here. I chose her theme "telephone"

sorry these pics aren't better, maybe TheLilCrocheter will do a better job

the box...this is a pretty bad pic, but basically it looks like a phone booth

some magnets:

cards:

and my "big" item, a little purse with a girl talking on the phone...my 2 year old almost stole this and wouldn't give it back!

sorry it's SO IMAGE OBESE! LOL

I'm not totally done yet, but this is the first thing I've ever crocheted. I am loving it so far and can't wait until it's full size so I can wrap up in it!

40  FIRST POST (of a project) in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by jesa on: January 20, 2007 04:39:44 PM
so I am finally playing around again (after too long away) and am NOT a sewer, but really want to learn. so I made a pointy kitty. and MAN it's pretty sad, but I love it anyways. and my daughter seems to think it's pretty cool. also made her the felted kitty hat that someone on here made and I totally can't find the post, so THANK YOU whoever it was that made this hat first, I think it's smashing. I added wiskers after this photo was taken and now it's even cuter. hope these pics work, never done it before.
