1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / FOR THE LOVE OF PETE on: April 05, 2007 11:15:46 AM
I am trying to sew cloth diapers for a friend. *Trying* to. The one I tried last night was all kinds of inside out wrong. The one this morning, I put on everything backwards. And my last attempt, still inside out on one side. Then the needle broke, and the tip hit my face. My face! A needle!! Jeez. I'll keep plugging away, though.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Raglan Spring sweater -- done! w/ link to pic on: March 22, 2007 07:44:22 AM
This was a fast knit- about 3 weeks. I decided to do a short sleeved raglan sweater out of chunky wool, because Spring is sort of an in between season for me, and the short sleeves coupled with the weight of the wool seemed very in between to me. This took me only about 3 weeks, even after knitting the body twice (and I might do it a third time, the decreases are weird!). This is my own pattern, following EZ and Stefanie Japel's raglan techniques.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Simplicity 4077 View D on: March 10, 2007 10:02:23 AM
Hi everyone, I am starting this today. Anyone else want to join along? I am making View D, the 3/4 length sleeve with the mandarin collar.

Wish me luck! Last time I sewed something that was actually nice was in the 9th grade, all of 14 years ago... where does the time go?
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / I gave it to my dog - Calorimetry on: March 06, 2007 05:12:37 AM
Because it looked cuter on him! I knitted Knitty's Caloriometry for myself out of my handspun, hand dyed yarn. I have a weensie head, so it looked lame on me (just too big). But on Barnabus... SO CUTE. I don't know what use a neck warmer would be for a dog, but he looks adorable in it.

Thanks for looking!
