LadybugsAndBumblebees I tried the BBQ chicken recipe today and it was fantastic. I added more onion, garlic powder and threw in 3 grated carrots too (great way to add sneaky veggies not that I have that problem) I forgot which BBQ sauce I used it wasn't the suggested one because I don't think we can get that one in the UK.
I have a tendency to put all of slow cooker things on low and leave it all day, I've never had a problem even from cooking from frozen. If anything I need to turn it down to warm half way through the day but I think out slow cooker is on the hotter side. But it is a really cheap one thats more than paid for itself over the years.
I always make my pot roasts (with a bottle of Ginness) and curry (using curry paste instead of sauce) in the slow cooker. The worse part is having to smell it all day but the convenience is worth it. I don't really have recipes as such I just kind of wing it.
