21  The stupid-ex-boyfriend's-shirt revamp in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: November 28, 2006 06:15:25 PM
Back Story:

So I was dating this guy for like, 6 months right? Then out-of-the-blue (and I mean out-of-the-blue) the jerk decided to dump me...at my friend's party 30-min in!! Alcohol wasn't even running through our systems! Since I was crying hysterically, the block-head took me home. AND to add insult to injury, he went back to my friend's party!!! He left a crap-load of his stuff in my house, and recently he called, angry, telling me to give him the stuff back! Ahhhhh!! So guess what I did???

This was an extra-large western shirt, somewhat expensive, oops?
And I sewed it to fit, poofed up the sleeves, and added extra-girly ribbon and bows!

A close up of the poofed sleeve and bow!

The proof is in the pudding!! (The size says extra-large)
Hope you liked.
P.S. Take that, poop head!

22  Spider Web Tote Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: November 27, 2006 09:42:38 PM
I recently made this for school, to carry my books, etc... I drafted a simple tote bag pattern, found large enough fabric scraps (the polka-dot is an old skirt) and got to sewing. I was trying to make professional looking straps, so I stuffed them (using stuffing from little sister's toys) and applied them with D-rings. They're not that great, but I'm pleased.

I machine-stitched spider webs (I adore spider webs) on the sides.

I added a last minute apron-style pocket.

I still plan on adding some old-English text on the front that says something super cool.
This is my first completed project post, so leave plenty of comments.
