11  Re: Yarn Swap for Rapunzel Scarf - Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: April 05, 2007 07:45:00 PM
So, as I said in an earlier post, I sent and received all my yarn today so I made the scarf. It's so purty!
All the jewel-colored yarn and ribbon I received. I loved everything.

My finished Scarf. I added red bows at the ends.

A super-cool action shot!:

Thanks to all my partners! And thanks for sending early, unlike me.

12  Lick Your Face Off Moisturizing Mask in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: April 01, 2007 06:47:48 PM
After the successful completion of all my April Fool's pranks on every one, (I told my mom my sister went to jail, told my sister she had received a big package from a guy, and told my boyfriend his mother called screaming at me.), and after prowling the Bath And Beauty board, I was inspired to create my own concotion for my extremely dry skin.

This is what I came up with. The Lick Your Face Off Moisturizing Mask. You'll really want to eat your face!

1 tbls.       Honey
1/4 cup.    Oatmeal
1 tsp.       Brown sugar
Enough water to make a paste

Mix the oatmeal, honey, and sugar. Then add small amounts of water at a time to create a paste. Rub it all over your face. And I mean, really pile it on. Leave it till it drys and wash off. Voila! Silky smooth skin, like a baby's bottom.

13  Re: Little Visitor Swap Round 6 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: March 19, 2007 05:07:04 PM
When I got home from school, there was poor little Shmoopy waiting under the bushes. To avoid any futher leg cramps and suffocation, I opened the box and let the little guy out.

He seemed ok, so I took him outside to meet him new environment.

The cactus scared him a little so I brung him back inside to surf craftster with me. Don't worry sarahpanda, I'll care for Shmoopy like he was my own.

and some cute food stickers!

The little doe and her food. Mmmmm....

She had to meet my little sister's Barbie family.

They had a drink, and then..darn...they took off! I have no idea where they went!
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much Novastarlet. I absolutly love it. You should be recieving your package in 3-4 days!

16  Re: Seven Deadly Sins Round 2 Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: February 17, 2007 07:30:28 PM
I took some pictures of what I got with my boyfriend's cellphone, they're not that great, so bare with me:

This is the whole lot. A purple tote bag that reads; The Rowdy Vamp (my sig) and I Love my Laziness (sloth), three purty bracelets, one that is missing from the pic because I forget where I left it last night, really cool seven sins chocolates (which I am tempted to eat), wrath stationary, a crocheted pouch, two ribbon pens, and my favorite, 3 beautiful rose barrettes!

Thank you faeryofdespaircreation55!

17  My Yellow Satin Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: February 09, 2007 06:15:07 PM
This was my 6 weeks assignment in my fashion design class. It was to make a tent dress. Well, I don't really like tent dresses all that much, so I asked my teach if I could change it up a bit. Little did she know.......Muah-ha-ha!!

I stayed with the tent dress idea.(A-line, seams down the middle) But, I made it empire waisted and babydoll-ish.

"Oh my god, do you love it?" is what my teacher says when we have completed a project.. Well, yes, I do love it!

18  The Misfits Corset in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: February 08, 2007 05:37:50 PM
Recipe For a Misfits Corset:

-Date an extra-large guy, and ask him to borrow an extra-large Misfits t-shirt.
-Have one of your friends clean out her closet, and then have her give you a tacky-o, white, lacy, corset-like thing.
-Have an upcoming show that you want something totally cool to wear to.

Mix t-shirt with corset thing. Pair with skirt and heels. Wear.

What I came up with:

Close ups:

Hope you guys like my corset-thingy. I think it's purty cool, the way "Misfits" goes across the tits. The top is purty revealing, in a good way? Anyways, leave me some totally awesome comments!

19  Purse in shape of: The Sacred Heart in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: January 06, 2007 10:24:24 PM
I hope this entry still qualifies seeing that it is still the 6th here.
This is my entry for the "Purse in the shape of a" challenge. I was inspired by a tattoo my father has on his chest, and I decided to re-create it. Drafting the pattern took alot of thought, but sewing it was the greatest challenge.
Here it is:
The Sacred Heart Purse. Completely lined, with (you guessed it) flame handles, and working stuffed thorn.
My definition of an action shot:

The inside:

An added close-up:

The bag was partly fun/horror to make, so I hope you guys like it!

20  Till Death in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by Rowdy Vamp Raquel on: December 27, 2006 08:29:00 AM
So last night I was looking at the ACT board, right? And I was pretty board myself, right? So, I went to my room, and made my first ACT.

But, alas, I'm now addicted to another craft, so I guess you'll be seeing me on this board more often.

So guys, comments/criticism welcome!
P.S. Acrylics
