Thank you for the list, each and every group has different ideas on how to set up their forums, I sadly do not understand all of them, so was pleased to find at least it was still here, and that I did have an answer. thanks gals.
Wow, what a group of goodies to choose from, someone has done their homework, and made the job easier for the next party. thanks so much for letting me in to see what is available. Off to the stash now, and getting busy. so many thanks, and hope I can repay the favor somehow. Shaddy
I believe this is a vintage pattern, I picked them up in a resale shop, want to make more, can't figger the pattern, but hoping someone out there might have it in their stash. I have all the patterns available, jingle bell potholder, potholder/dishcloth pattern, and the new year bell potholder. None of these is really close as you can see. I am driving myself nuts trying to find the pattern, or even looking, counting, and working, just isn't coming together like it should. I should mention they are thread, and looks like the ring has both sides of the potholder on it, no joins anywhere. Also, the ends of the rows, is a ch 2, and they are not used as a turning chain, and crocheted into. Need more photos? let me know?
thanks so much for the clue, I have done the deed, and hope to hear from him, perhaps they are gone already, but never hurts to ask anyway. I am bothering all the sellers of said mags on ebay asking, and most report back with no luck, but there are many that say they will keep looking for me, and I have to believe they will. Thanks again for your suggestion, much appreciated! Shaddy
thanks for your input, but have tried Ravelry, no luck, tried the ville, no luck, tried every forum, group I can possibly think of, in addition to those I belong to, tried ebay as well, jut about exhausted all sources, but am sure it is out there somewhere! shaddy
I have been looking for an old pattern for years,it was from a book I believe 1978-1983 not sure. The book it's self is a craft book not solely for crochet,it is a Fall edition, the pattern was of "Crocheted Chicken Breadbasket" it is of a chicken that fits over a basket or bowl,it's wings lift up and there is a hole crocheted in to you can get to the goodies inside. The tail feathers are done in acolorful ripple crochet,I have see many patterns over the years but none are of the one I had made years ago. I believe the book was a Womans Circle,or Womans HouseHold, all I can remember it was a Fall book, there was a sewn turkey on the opposite page of the crochetd Chicken bread basket. The pictures were in color.I made many of these breadbaskets to give holiday homemade cookies in and the people loved them, but I had lent the book out and never got it back, can some one out there help me find this very old pattern. It was done in 4ply yarn.I don't know for sure the book I do remember the pictures were in color and the pages were shiny not the dull pages .Sure would love to find this pattern before I die,It's on my bucket list ,LOL.Thanks
Thanks heaps gal, but this isn't what I have in mind. I think the picture was one the other lady stored somewhere, perhaps at Photobucket, and I am having a devil of a time finding it. I searched all of my history, and came up bare! Appreciate your time in replying tho, am off to try and find the elusive picture! Hope I do!
Hello gals, I am seeking information about an Easter bunny towel, someone, somewhere had a link to one, and I copied the picture, but there is no address so I can get back again, a friend would like a picture of same, as there are no instructions for this. Does someone know how to make one, or have a link to somewhere. This is a bathtowel, decorated and hung on the rod to spiff up the bathroom for the upcoming Holiday. Thanks for any assistance!
Somewhere, I found a link to a picture of a towel someone had folded, and decorated to look like a bunny. I copied the picture, but it has no info as the the address, so I can find it again, would someone out there have some insight into making a bunny towel, or a link, so I can send it on to someone else? Appreciate your time ladies!
