Sometimes I put mine in the dryer on 'fluff'   and the little pieces of paper get caught in the lint trap!

The technique is called birthing...and I don't think you would have to say anything about the binding!

I'd do the thrift shops...and buy the really over-patterned pieces that when you break them still have lots of design and color...but I know what you mean, my luck it would be some Ming Dynasty vase I destoyed!!!

I never find fabric or sheets at Goodwill...and does anyone else's Value Village stink  so bad that it's hard to spend 2 minutes in there?

I did find some awesome 2 yard upholstery fabric  ($5) at our Dollar General...one time deal I guess, have never seen it again!
