The nesting "bar" current sits at around 20 - someone nested 20 "rolynester" bags @ http://www.studiokatdesigns.com/freepatterns.htm - I'd say the zipper authorities would be more interested in her than in you, lol!

IMHO, when you can no longer nest them, the NEXT bag is the only one that's excessive Cheesy

Your zippies are lovely, and the pink lining adds a fun punch!  I'm on a zipper bag kick myself, making Christmas and birthday zipper bag sets (a boxy bag and tall pouch or other smaller zipper bag) - I'm about to order 100 zippers from Etsy because 100 zippers isn't excessive - it's very cost effective! Wink  Hopefully the zipper authorities aren't reading and plotting an intervention for either of us, lol.

Cute bags - especially the cat fabric Smiley

If you know anybody in construction, they can likely find old broken measuring tapes on the job site - my son has found me a couple that way, lol!

LOL those bags are great, and the sayings are a hoot - very appropriate!  Your crafty friends are lucky!

Thank you - you've given me an idea of making matching totes for my little group of Ladies Night Out ladies - we're going out tonight for thrift storing/dinner/movie - it would be really fun if we had matching bags - it would be the perfect Christmas gift!

I think Alice is a very lucky young lady, with a pretty zipper bag and a sweet sister Smiley  I like your idea of putting an initial on the bags, and I'm going to copy steal borrow your idea for my next zippy Cheesy

Are you near a Fabricland?  They have 7" zippers there for 3/$1 (that's the regular promo price) - they don't have a zillion colours but they're sure great to stock up on if you make lots of zippies!

Awwwwwwww what a sweet set, and what a sweet thing for you to do - I bet she (or he?) passes on the RAK - wouldn't that be wonderful!

Criticism:  It's not in MY HANDS!

I don't even knit and I want half a dozen of these - this project definitely ROCKS!  Your topic title is a hoot too - now I have that song in my head, lolol.  You did a lovely job - it's just so eye catching and fun!

I see no evidence of beginnerness (new word Cheesy) - you did a lovely job - certainly far better than my first projects (way back in the 70's, LOLOL).  Great fabrics, great design (which I will copy, because I love making zippies), cute embellishment, and I especially love that your bag and your manicure match Cheesy

Love 'em all, especially that terrific 70's fabric in the first bag!  I love working with upholstery fabric - it's nice and sturdy (and usually washable, despite their instructions) and easy to work with.  You did a really good job on all 3 bags - I'm going to try that strap technique on my next bag!
