this is kinda common around my area as i've seen this done tons of times on the van's canvas slip ons but when done right its really cool
what about cutting out some kind of pattern or whatever you like from a cotton material and sewing it on? by hand of course cuz a machine would be...rough  shrug all i've seen so far is skulls so i don't really know what else you could sew on there-j
