Hiya Gretchen28!
I'm in Kansas City also.  I do just about anything that tickles my fancy at the moment..a craft du jour kinda girl, you could say.  Right now i'm really excited about crocheting.  Unfortunately, I'm stuck with teaching myself at the moment.  i'm trying to learn to make granny squares.  I've got something going that looks about right, but i'm not completely convinced.

My friend and i started a club as well.  So far we are only two...well, two plus my husband who turns out to be a craft-loop pot-holder making fiend!  We have lots of ideas, but have yet to build up any significant momentum.  let me know what's going on with your group!

Hiya Craftsters.  i'm livin' in KC too!  I do whatever tickles my fancy at the moment.  I've been exploring the possibilities of the craft-loop loom, which has sparked an interest in crocheting, but I'm also getting itchy to learn how to make beaded handbags.  i saw a pretty cool looking kit at the Hobby-Lobby.  Any of you other KC'ers been to URBAN CRAFTS, (I think that's the right name), at River Market?  It's pretty neat-o.

Talk to you soon!
