2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / New upcycled/recycled things I've been working on... on: May 13, 2008 04:21:11 PM
Just some things i've been working on recently ♥

1) Oversized Pinup Flower Hairclip

For this i used: recycled cardstock, recycled fabric, & a snapclip.

2) Recycled Paper Resin Brooch w/ Vintage Button

This one is my favourite, it was my first time working with resin. I used: recycled paper, resin, a pin, and a vintage button Smiley

3) Recycled Plastic & Paper Necklace

For this one i used an old giftcard that i didn't need any more, and covered it with paper from a manual i didn't want any more. A paperclip is holding it, and i topped it with a glow in the dark star! Smiley

Hope you like!!

6  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 25 ENTRIES / CN Tower Skirt on: March 02, 2008 11:06:10 AM
Hey grrls Smiley

So, I'm from Toronto, where we're well known for our CN Tower:

I made this skirt from a pair of pajama pants that I didn't want anymore. All handsewn (my sewing machine makes me angry), dyed, and then stenciled. Hope you like!

These are the pajama pants before:

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Vintage Slipdresses on: January 24, 2008 12:02:34 PM
Do you guys ever see girls wearing them as casual summer dresses? Or do you wear them yourselves? I've seen a bunch on Etsy. I bought one a little while ago, which i love. But i've only worn it around the house, because i'm worried it looks like lingerie. (which is stupid for me to care, i know, but whatever)

What do you guys think about wearing them?

Mine looks like this:

Hi Grrls Smiley

I hand-sewed some stretchy fabric into a ring-ish form, and then sewed the button. Super easy and pretty Smiley
