21  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: coolest fabric ever! on: April 13, 2007 03:03:20 PM
I've never seen this!  I think it would be fun to make something with it.  I wonder how well it erases?
22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: teal walrus sweater recon! on: April 13, 2007 02:59:05 PM
So cute!  You could definitely start your own little business reconning clothes.

Oh sweetie, come on out of the hole  Smiley -- I wasn't offended, just acknowledging my mistake.  Please don't feel bad!!!  Heck, cupcakes probably talk in their own bizarre, highly evolved cupcake language involving gutteral clicks and Tuvan (sp?) throat singing.  Smiley

(waaaaaaaaay off topic)  Smiley

Very nice!  I love that shade of green.

With my husband's blow gun fixation, I can't walk around our house barefoot, let alone naked.  But enjoy your nakie time!  Wink

Very cute!  Yet functional!

For some reason, I think cupcakes should have Cockney British accents? "'Ello, gov'neh.  Would ye fancy a cupcake?"

Very cool idea!  I like how you set the photo at an angle.

Your jewelry is gorgeous!

ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) can be a good way to get in some quick, "finishable" projects while you're working on something bigger that takes a long time to finish.

I'm also a writer, (just finished my first novel, after five loooong years!!!) and I have a little note taped to my monitor that says "Respect the Process", to remind myself that any big, worthwhile project is basically a series of little steps, mistakes, learning, etc. and without all that, you would never get to the end result.  I don't know if that helps, but thought I'd throw that out there.

I know I gushed about this idea in your other no-glue collage thread, but I'm gonna reiterate how much I LOVE this idea!  When I can actually get TO my epherma stash again (right now it's covered with stuff from my current quilting project), I am going to make a bunch of these collages!  Smiley
30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Beaded wire pendant..or ring? You decide! on: April 13, 2007 08:56:45 AM
Very nice!  I'm gonna go with the majority and say pendant.

Or... something that popped into my head when I first saw it was that it would make a cool drawer pull for a jewelry box or some kind of lightweight box/case with a drawer.
