81  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Game Sprite Cross-stitchs on: November 18, 2006 05:16:45 PM
Patience is not one of my virtues and I think I'd go mad if I'd have to work on a large cross-stitch project - therefore small NES/SNES sprites make perfect targets!

Celes from Final Fantasy 6 (known as Final Fantasy 3 in the US).

1-UP Mushroom from Super Mario.

Bubbleman from Megaman 2.

Heatman from Megaman 2.

Energy tank from Return to Silius.
82  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / EGL/EGA/SL/etc. garments, a bunch of them! on: November 18, 2006 05:07:54 PM
So, here goes: the best of the EGL (Elegant Gothic Lolita) / EGA (Elegant Gothic Aristocrat) / SL (Sweet Lolita) / etc.  clothes I've made for different people over the course of maybe two years. (And no, I don't wear them myself, I'd look silly - and anyway, who would trust a doctor in a frilly lacey girly pink dress? :P )

Oh, oh, oh, oh, ooh :O
I love these!

... and it's great to know I'm not the only one with pixelated NES/SNES sprites on my house walls Cheesy
(I have Heatman on my wall, too! I've also made a cross-stitch purse out of that particular sprite.)

85  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Fairy Wings I made for my sister-- What do you think? on: November 18, 2006 03:49:33 PM
Really beautiful - I showed this pic to my fianc to convince him that I'm not the only female crafter who forces her significant other to model girly creations.

(I have a great pic of him modelling a super-cute white EGL dress with loads of tulle and eyelet lace. For some reason he demanded me to but a blurry mosaic over his face before posting the pic anywhere Cheesy )
