1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Futon--making it less futony? on: December 15, 2008 03:24:24 PM
I have a futon and I am very sick of that "futon" look with the wooden arms and all that.   Sad Any suggestions on how I can reupholster it? I threw a sheet over it and it doesn't look right as is. Advice much appreciated!
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / Cutting out a picture into a perfect circle? on: April 20, 2007 11:00:32 AM
This may sound dumb but is there a tool that will cut out a picture into a circle shape (instead of me trying to cut it perfectly). Like maybe a punch of some sort? I haven't seen one? I saw a tracer knife thingie and a heard shaped mold that you trace around it with. But no circular one and that sounds like it could be sloppy.

4  New York / New York: NYC and Long Island / Good stores for stuffing, felt, etc. in NYC (Manhattan, Brooklyn, etc.) on: February 03, 2007 03:14:33 PM
I am looking for a places that have a good VARIETY of lots of craft stuff like felt, paper, stuffing, etc. A lot of places I've been too (i.e. Pearl Paint's craft store, the sparse Rag Shop in Brooklyn) have such a small selection!

Thanks in advance!
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Creative alternatives to file cabinets (paper storage)? on: November 16, 2006 07:02:12 PM
Hello I'm new!

Does anyone have any creative ideas to the traditional boring file cabinet for storing papers (bills, documents, etc.).

Thanks in advance! Smiley Cool
