1  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Needle Felted Bendy Guy on: August 16, 2012 01:27:15 PM
I made this guy by first making a pipe cleaner, stick figure, then felting around it.  While felting this, my boyfriend arrived home and said, "I thought I felt something!" Never even thought how creepy I probably looked, jabbing a needle into this little man. These are pretty fun to play with.

2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Easy Peasy Swap Gallery on: April 12, 2008 04:58:59 PM
oh that makes me want to go for a swim.  I don't know why it reminds me of the old timey swim suits - I love it!  Great job!!

This has been an amazing gallery so far!

My first thought was of Johnny Depp in Sweeny Todd.   Grin

Everything is great so far.  Lot's of talent here.  I am still without a computer at home, so I can't post pics.  I need to see if my partner can.

I can't wait for everyone to see my beautiful new Fairy Woman pendant.  It is a rectangle piece of leather (?) with the coolest image of a fairy's face on it.  I have been wearing it non stop since I opened it yesterday.   Cheesy  She also sent an adorable little hand made puppy stuffy for my daughter.  She loves it.  Thank you peihan for an awesome swap package.

I sent this morning!  Now, anxiety about working on it is over, but anxiety over whether she'll like it is beginning  Roll Eyes

Do we have a gallery yet, or did I miss it?

Not only do I like it, I love it!!!! Grin

I was thinking about joining this swap. Would yall consider a little girls dress say for a 4 yr old and under a medium project? I love making dresses and really all I do is sew. So it's a toddler dress or quilt...and quilts, well they take a long time to make. Has anyone joined who would like a dress for your little girl? I didn't see anyone who frequents the kids board.

Actually, that is one the things I was interested in.  I don't sew, so I don't know if that is medium or not.  I have a two year old who could use some cute summer dresses. Cheesy

You have some cool skillz too babyskillz! You made the owl tree? that thing rocks Smiley

This is going to be a great swap!

Thanks! Embarrassed  I'm glad you liked it.
9  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Bunny Slippers on: March 20, 2008 04:27:40 PM
hahaha i must learn! what level of crotchet-maturness do you think youd have had to master to do these? i am a beginner definately.

How good are you at reading patterns?  That is the main thing. The actual stitches aren't that tough.  If you can work in the round and do single and double crochet, then you are set.
