1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bella Necklace?! on: December 28, 2008 11:00:07 PM
That is awesome, and I LOVE the heart charm!!!

I wanted to make a "Bella" bracelet for my daughter's friend for Christmas (since she lives and BREATHES Twilight), and I used that EXACT same wolf!!!  He was the only wolfy-thing I could find, so I wire-wrapped him to make him a charm, and put it on a chain with a crystal heart bead I also wrapped.  She loved it so much, she cried.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Corset photos - got my professional ones taken - img heavy on: November 13, 2008 11:34:26 PM
I have had the supplies forever to make a corset out of black patent pleather.  I will be my first one ever, and I'm chicken to start it.  After seeing your beautiful work, I may as well send the stuff to you! JK....sigh, one day I'll make it.  Meanwhile, I am stunned by your talent!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Pi Scarf! on: September 11, 2008 09:22:52 AM
I love it.  My 10YO daughter will have Pi Day ay school, and I plan to make her one.

Unikatissima, thanks for the link!  It's the best explanation for color changing that I've seen.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Just realized I haven't posted here in a while (dresses) on: September 05, 2008 01:10:26 PM
The dresses are completely awesome, and OH OH OH, those white SHOES (pant pant)! Shocked
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: death and alice on: August 15, 2008 10:04:46 AM
I LOVE your death's head.  Mezo-American culture is a fascination of mine; I recognized Miquiztli right away!  Great work!

Oh, and I love the dotted fabric you used for Alice.
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Go Team Venture! on: August 14, 2008 04:55:50 AM
I am an Adult Swim freak, and Venture Bros. is my absolute favorite cartoon show ever.  I can't wait to see your Brock Sampson!

(PS- I'd love a peek at Dr. O, even without hair.  I love that guy)
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Rainbow Patchwork Skirt on: July 28, 2008 02:59:42 PM
You skirt is absolutely stunning, and pardon my francais, but SCREW those who mocked it (and you!).

I worked on a dress for a week once to wear to a shower, and after I had FINALLY finished, I showed it to my husband and he said, "It looks like a bathrobe".  I ended up not wearing it, and I've regretted it ever since.

I find myself constantly defending my crafting, especially to my husband (whose only "hobbies" are, apparently: smoking, bitching and complaining, but I digress).  HOWEVER, ,who is the first one the nay-sayers come to when they need a hem done or a costume for their kids' school play?

We should make our own t-shirt:

9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: raving rabbids? on: July 23, 2008 06:51:13 AM
Boy, what a coincidence, I JUST SAW THIS last night!

I checked this seller and the pattern is for sale again.  I think it's what you're looking for.
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: My first crochet project- fluffy granny square blanket on: July 22, 2008 09:01:14 AM
I love it!  I adore that shade of blue, and it looks very cozy.

I've yet to do anything with squares, although I should.  They're great take-along projects.
