Smiley So cheerful and well executed!
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Tutorial: classy pleated iridescent clutch on: February 01, 2009 10:56:27 PM

Here's the result of my try with the pattern and tut. It's not so much like yours, but I loved the result. So did my sister, the happy recipient of the clutch. I added a strap so she can wear it on as a shoulder bag or hide it if she wants to. Thanks a lot for sharing your tutorial!

Thanks for the compliments.
About your question
Quote
Is it jointed?
I just sewed the arms and legs to the body, but they don't move.
I embroidered the eyes with black yarn, using satin stitch. First I stuffed the head and then did the eyes. To get the shape of the head, when I embroidered the eyes, I passed the needle through from one eye to the other several times and tightened it a little bit. I did the same when I sewed the ears.
I've written the instructions for this project in Spanish and I'm trying to translate it in order to post it here.
Thanks again for tha marvlous comments.
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Piggy for my piggy on: October 29, 2007 04:33:59 PM
Hello there!
I wanted to show you all one of the thigs I've been doing. It's a little pink pig I made for my son, Felipe, who is as cute and chunky as the crocheted one.

What you see in the back are the body parts (ok, that sounded creepy) and the rest of the yarn I used.

I hope you like it.

I'm also a "blogger", but my blog is in Spanish. I'm considering translating some of the stuff to an English version, but it will take me some time. Just in case, my url is
http://curupisa.blogspot.com
and I mix there some crochet with some literature.

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: my latest "re"-creation on: January 25, 2007 08:55:07 PM
Thanks for the comments!
The real color is not brown or beige really, it's some kind of cream or natural. My camera is not working properly.
Anyway, thanks again.

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / my latest "re"-creation on: January 24, 2007 11:54:50 PM
So here it is. My latest bag.
It's made of a thick cotton and I used a pattern that I found here:  http://www.freepatterns.com/list.html?cat_id=337.
I added some rounds of single crochet (taking the back loop of previous round) to get the right size for the bag to match the handles.
The pictures are bad as my camera ain't working ok and I'm not a good photographer.
Hope you like.
Silvia.
