3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: love heart brooch on: July 18, 2007 07:41:22 AM
oh i'm so stupid, i did it the wrong way round (divided instead of multiplied) even more stupid as i'm always converting things, i love nylon magazine which is imported from the us, very annoying sometimes tho as they have loads of gorgeous things that i can't buy over here!
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Vintage Craft Projects / Re: DIY Vintage UGG Boots Tutorial! on: July 18, 2007 06:25:01 AM
oh awesome!!! thanks for the tutorial.....the only complicated part is all the bias tape/... iwonder if the seams could be sewn on the inside and that eliminated

I agree I have never used bias binding before!
with the sizing, how much do you add/take away for each size is it it an inch per size for example? also does anyone know the american to british size conversions?

one last question, can these be worn out side? i guess it depends on the material right?
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / love heart brooch on: July 18, 2007 06:15:03 AM
i made these for an exhibition i hade in a local gallery, I only sold one as i think i may have made them too expensive (4, about $2 i think) but they took so long to make that i even at that price i woundn't have broken even!

it's really good, im not sure why you used the projector though? surely anyone could trace something? wouldn't it have been more fulfilling to draw it the 'normal' way?
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Re: fabric picture/art? on: July 17, 2007 06:20:37 AM

9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Re: Willy Wonka Nerds (the candy) Project (not finished) on: July 17, 2007 06:13:15 AM
We don't have nerds in the uk anymore, but i remmeber them from when i was a kid they were great! they also made dweebs too, that were a slightly different shape i think. they came in a box with ntoo compartments a flavour on each side. i think there are sites where you can buy amercan sweets, if anyone knows of any i would be so grateful! you guys have the coolest stuff! they also stopped making lucky charms over here which were the best cearel ever! i miss them so much...
10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help, hippy psychadelic 60's image sources needed, on: July 17, 2007 06:04:08 AM
sounds like a great idea! you could look for Books in you're local library? try looking for 'posters' on google with the words you tried earlier added. or try 'hair the musical' (60's hippy musical) and try searching ggle images and web separately. sorry thats all i can think of!
