1  Florida / Florida: Central / craft vendors in tampa!!! on: August 28, 2010 02:04:59 PM
howdy:)
I'm rallying up craft vendors for a day of the dead craft show in Tampa:)  Will most likely be in the North Tampa area based on the contacts I've created, but my location is not yet set in stone.  Vendor fee will be $20 per table spot and I will supply flyers and marketing tools.  I am planning to have live music in addition to the crafty goodness:)
I would really love to have some feedback and see if any crafty ladies and gents would be down for a good time and a chance to make some extra cash!
I used to be involved in a craft circuit a few years back where they had events monthly or bi-monthly...  I would like to get a solid group of peeps together to do that, but I figured we could start with this event:)
So if you have an interest and would like to be a part of crafty goodness, please contact me or respond to this post:)

Thanks in advance:)
looking forward to hearing from ya;)

3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / something for my dad..... bob villa inspired? on: December 09, 2006 01:54:02 PM
hello Undecided
i am a newbie but i love this site.  it is chock full of amazing ideas and friendly people.  um, yeah so im looking for ideas for my dad.
i made him a scarf last year so thats out.  bummer.  i was thinking maybe those golf club cozies, but i have no idea how to crochet them.  he is in his 50's in cold weather likes to relax when he can b/c he works alot.  loves jimmy buffet and he's my diy inspiration.  we used to watch this old house together when i was a kid and he took me to the craft store every weekend.  he's really a great dad and he deserves something fabulous.  i would like to tie in to the fact that i have been remembering my childhood through the crafts that we made together.  something really heartfelt and unique.  all ideas would be greatly appreciated.  thanks so much Smiley
4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Father's Day / does anyone have a pattern for making those sock things to put over golf clubs on: December 09, 2006 01:42:51 PM
howdy everyone Smiley
im trying to make something for my dad for the holidays and a friend suggested crocheting him some golf club cozies.  i was just thinking maybe someone would know how to go about doing this and/or have directions.  that'd be swell.  or if you can think of anything else for a jimmy buffet kind of dad who likes cigars, wine, golf, and works ALOT.  thanks a bunch Smiley
