howdy;)
i want to put together a craft show...  I have been making somewhat of an effort for a lil while now and no one on here seems very interested...  I have spoken to some possible locations and they seem like they would be interested in hosting the event.
please pm me if you are interested and then maybe we can start a thread...
thanks:)

3  Florida / Florida: Central / craft vendors in tampa!!! on: August 28, 2010 02:04:59 PM
howdy:)
I'm rallying up craft vendors for a day of the dead craft show in Tampa:)  Will most likely be in the North Tampa area based on the contacts I've created, but my location is not yet set in stone.  Vendor fee will be $20 per table spot and I will supply flyers and marketing tools.  I am planning to have live music in addition to the crafty goodness:)
I would really love to have some feedback and see if any crafty ladies and gents would be down for a good time and a chance to make some extra cash!
I used to be involved in a craft circuit a few years back where they had events monthly or bi-monthly...  I would like to get a solid group of peeps together to do that, but I figured we could start with this event:)
So if you have an interest and would like to be a part of crafty goodness, please contact me or respond to this post:)

Thanks in advance:)
looking forward to hearing from ya;)
4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Selling advice please on: July 12, 2008 07:16:14 AM
this may not be helpful at all but...
when im making something new and im not sure how it will go over or how i can improve on quality control and comfort, i usually give it away to my closest and most verbal friends.  you know the friend who always tells you when you have a booger in your nose.  that way, if it has a crappy clasp problem or what not she will be the one to tell you how to make it better.  and also when she wears it people will ask where she got it and then up goes your sales Smiley  hope that helps Smiley
5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Paper to use for cards? on: July 12, 2008 07:12:47 AM
 Smiley  Hello
I use card stock.  you can buy it at staples or office depot for a pretty cheap price.  and you can get it in all kinds of colors.  also you can get free business cards on vistaprint.com  they have some logo stuff on the back, but for the price you cant beat it:)  good luck

8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Where to go to sell vintage? on: May 31, 2008 05:52:08 AM
i sell vintage.  people aren't always the nicest to us vintage sellers.  they think we are just trying to make money off of a .50 shirt form a thrift store.  i see it as a passion for fashion and a taste of a time that i didn't get to live through.  and since we can't keep everything, it affords us our habit to sell.  but thats just me.  so i'd say yes my dear etsy is a great place to sell vintage.  however i'd still mix it up and sell some hand crafted items too.  good luck to you:)
