1  Craft Swaps / ACTIVE SWAPS WHERE SIGN-UP PERIOD HAS CLOSED / Re: My Favorite Book Swap (S/U 5/16/16 to 5/31/16; S/O 06/22/16) on: May 28, 2016 10:58:33 AM
This seems like a fun swap! I've been looking for a swap to get back to craft swapping, this could be the one!  Smiley

The only thing is that I read many books in French and many of the authors I like are from Qubec or France and write in French and haven't been translated in English (and authors you propably have never heard about!). But I do like a lot of books written in English too. It just narrows down my favorite books and authors lists down!
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Random Swap Round 5 Gallery on: May 26, 2014 02:24:49 PM
Fantastic gallery! And I'm about to add more to the awesomeness of it all with pictures of the package I received from suereal! She totally spoiled me, I LOVE everything she sent, it's all so me!

There's a beautiful owl purse, the colors, the fabric... it's all perfect! It has little cute claws! And the embroidery on it looks like feathers.

A super cool owl t-shirt! And it glows in the dark!

An amazing journal! I want to get into journaling and suereal sent the perfect journal for it. It's full of different types of paper and pockets that were full of cool stuff like stickers, embellishements, fabric patches and ATC blanks.

A wonderful hoopla! It's so whimsical, I love it!

A super cute bento box and accessories all wrapped up in a prety scarf.

An egg scrubbie, an octpus cat toy and a big eye pompom! So cool!

And finally, some beautiful fabrics and fun extras including a pencil case full of markers and pencils, a cute owl dish and a fantastic pig with wings!

Thank you so much suereal, I love it all!  Grin This has been an awesome swap!

heheh Yup...I love packing tape too.  I think I add extra pounds with as much as I use.  But I've never lost anything out of a package and they have all made it safe Grin

Haha! I'm the same way when I wrap things!  Cheesy

Yoko Tsuno! She's awesome!  Smiley Although I have no idea if the comics have been translated in english. She was created by Roger Leloup who's from Belgium and the comics are in french.

So many movies! I loved (and still do love) musicals, Wizard of Oz and Annie were a few favorites. And classic cartoon movies like Tintin, Asterix and Lucky Luke, they play every year during the holidays and I still watch them every year!. I also watched Beetlejuice and the original Hairspray soooooo many times as a teen.

I have a cat, Wilfred (nicknamed Willie). He's a beige-y grey tabby. He's actually sitting in my lap as I type this! I love my cat! He loves to play, I throw his toys and he brings them back for me to throw them again, like a dog!  Cheesy I'm actually allergic to cats, but I can't resist them!

Actually, things haven't changed much for me, I STILL want to do the things I wanted to do as a child!  Smiley I wanted to be a costume designer for films and theater, that would have been so awesome!! I had the chance to do an apprenticeship once for the play "Carmen" at a local theater, it was so great! And the other thing is a translator, I always wanted to translate books from english to french. I started school for that, but because of health issues, I didn't finish. But I've been looking at courses and schools lately, so who knows!

I haven't had time to craft as much as I'd like to lately, it's been crazy at work! But I have all my supplies and all my plans and patterns, I just need to craft!  Cheesy

I'm an office clerk in a small caf/library that sells used books. It's a really great place, I really enjoy working there. Smiley

I know the box I got from the PO is not a Tardis...it seems smaller in the inside then the outside Grin
Hahaha!  Cheesy A Tardis box would be awesome!

The check-in question is hard this week! I really like where I live now because all my family is close and I really love living in the province of Qubec in Canada. But there's so many places I'd love to visit and maybe even stay for a while like London, Iceland, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and many other places in Canada, like New-Brunswick, Newfoundland or British Colombia. I much prefer places that don't get too hot, I'm ALWAYS hot! And I'm used to my 4 seasons, I don't think I could live in a place where it's summer weather all year!

I really like my handwriting. I mostly use cursive, even when I'm doing crosswords puzzles!  Cheesy I usually use print when I have to fill out something "official". But I LOVE typography and calligraphy so sometimes I just play around with my handwriting for fun.
