1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Henna hair dye? on: May 26, 2011 08:45:25 PM
So I would like to dye my hair with henna, but I do not have a market that sells any locally.

What is a good brand to look for online?
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Wire Jig Preferences? on: August 09, 2009 04:21:54 PM
Which wire jig do you use, and why? If you've gone through others, why'd you switch?

I would like to get one, but I haven't found many reviews of them, and some of the options are pricey; but I would rather spend the money now instead of waste it if the cheaper options are no good. Soooo, share some knowledge with me?
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Anyone looking to destash copies of Crochet Today! mag? on: June 04, 2009 02:28:13 PM
I recently fell in love with this mag, and would love to get some of the back copies I'm missing. Toss me a PM if you have any you are looking to get rid of, and we can discuss options - I have paypal, some books/mags I'd like to get rid of, yarn, etc.
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Can I use this particular FO? on: January 29, 2009 03:02:00 PM
So I would like to try some very simple M&P soap and massage oil for My Guy for V-Day. Beyond reading a book on Melt & Pour, I don't have any experience with this craft.

He's kind of picky with what scents he likes, like most men probably. He likes sandalwood, but loves vanilla and cinnamon. Sandalwood and vanilla aren't very hard to find, bath accessory-wise, so I thought I would make some cinnamon-scented swag.

My question is this: is cinnamon something that doesn't mix well with skin? Will using a Fragrance oil instead of Essential oil avoid any problems with the strength of cinnamon? Should I look for an oil that has another scent/herb blended with the cinnamon?

And since I haven't really found any info in the book that covers this, what is different from an Essential oil and an Extract, that makes EO's usable in soap/etc, but extracts not?
