1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / The Sword Fringe Sleeves T-Shirt Dress! on: December 02, 2014 05:39:36 AM
I made this awesome bodycon dress from a t-shirt! It was a medium sized men's shirt so I had just enough of that material to make a long fitted tank. But I wanted it to be a dress! And have fringe sleeves! I rarely ever do sleeves but they turned out pretty good! I used a rayon/spandex for the sleeves and to add length to the dress. I used other t-shirts for the fringe. Can't wait to make more like this! With t-shirts and other fabrics!  Cheesy

2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Frankenhooker on: November 01, 2014 01:06:17 PM
Frankenhooker is one of my fav horror comedies! I just had to make a Frankenhooker/Elizabeth costume this year! I made the mini skirt from scratch and used the same fabric to stitch over top of an old bra. Actually, I cut apart a padded bra and sewed it INSIDE of another bra! haha, to give that bigger look, more like the movie character's. And I made halter tie straps for it.

3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Zombie Dorothy Wizard of Oz on: November 01, 2014 12:48:19 PM
About 6 or 7 years ago, I made this Dorothy dress. I think I only wanted to be Dorothy because I found red glitter shoes at Goodwill! Well, at the time, I was just regular Dorothy. I don't think I have pics from then.

Well I was not likely to be Dorothy again because it's a little too plain/cutesy for me. So I decicded to slash it up and go to a party as zombie Dorothy. I did take some before pics this time of the dress. It has shirring on back.

And then... I just let a guy friend of mine borrow it and he looks super creepy in it! I'm glad the dress is getting some use after being stored away for so long!
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Velvet Lace-Up Lingerie Set on: October 07, 2014 07:27:59 AM
I don't often like high-waisted panties but I decided to give them a try to see if I could design some that were cute and somewhat flattering. I'm really happy with the result! Kinda goth pin-up! Made with crushed velvet. They are very high-waisted and have cut-out sections in front that lace up with ribbon. I love the bralette! It has lace up sides to match the panties. I like that the ribbon can be adjusted and laced/tied in different ways.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Black Leopard Print Lingerie Set on: October 07, 2014 06:28:04 AM
I made this bralette and panty set with some soft rayon and an awesome leopard print stretch lace! Made my own pattern pieces... not sure what else to say about them but I love them! So here are some pics...

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Leather and Chiffon Cocktail Dress (made from leather coat) on: August 25, 2014 06:58:38 AM
A couple months ago, I was invited to an independent artists event, which required "cocktail attire". Of course I wanted to make my own dress for this. I had a design/style in mind- a black dress with a leather bodice and a gathered skirt with a sheer overlay. I only had a few days to make the dress so I had to keep it kinda simple. I cut up a used leather coat for my bodice fabric and bought chiffon and some polyester knit for the skirt. Well, I wasn't able to finish it in time! I had to put a zipper in the back and didn't have an invisible zipper foot! D'oh!

But I finally ordered a foot and finished my dress recently. Here it is!

This was my second time sewing leather. There are a lot of things I know to do differently for next time! Like, I should probably put boning in it! Despite the mistakes, I'm still happy with how it turned out.
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Bra Top and Booty Shorts Set with Sheer Panels on: August 20, 2014 08:45:39 PM
I'm used to posting on the "Reconstructed" board but these are made from new fabrics! First, I made the bra top/bralette/bikini/whatever you wanna call it. It's a stretchy "wet look" fabric and I added some sheer sections. I didn't use a pattern but I did make my own as I went along. I was pretty happy with it but wanted to make matching bottoms! I decided on some booty shorts and gave them sexy sheer panels on front and back! Rawr! Oh, and I put a crotch lining in the shorts.

What do you think? I'm working on more like these and will probably make some with slight variations in style.

OK, I made a second halter top. This one is a smaller size and I changed my pattern slightly so there is no gap between the triangles and the band has curves.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / SID VICIOUS T-Shirt Bodysuit Cut Out Sides on: August 18, 2014 05:49:58 PM
Another t-shirt bodysuit! I gave this one halter style straps that tie behind the neck. Also, I reconstructed it to have a "cut out" back and sides!

Looks best on a real person! Modeled here by Canadian SG Hopeful, All Mighty Sif! I love how the cutout shows off her side tattoo perfectly!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Emperor T-Shirt Bodysuit with Lace and Lace-Up Sides! on: July 23, 2014 05:32:09 PM
I made this from a men's sized Emperor (metal band) t-shirt. I only used the back portion of the t-shirt when I discovered how perfectly the logo and lyrics were placed/spaced! I used a stretch rayon fabric for the back half of the bodysuit and added stretch lace trim. I also gave it lace up sides with eyelet tape. And it's got adjustable elastic straps. I love it! It's kinda lingerie-esque.

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / The Cramps Bodysuit from a T-Shirt. Cutout Back on: May 20, 2014 05:20:47 AM
I scored an awesome used Cramps t-shirt from a friend's record shop (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rock-Roll-Graveyard/188016344569315). I made a hot bodysuit out of it for a friend. I sooo badly wanted to keep it for myself!

Back view. I cut out a portion to show some skin!

Side view with cut out sides. It was made for a bigger size than what I am so it's kinda baggy on me but you get the idea:
