1  Shrinky Dink Rings + Matching Pendants : ) *several pics* in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by CraftyPirateGirl on: March 20, 2007 12:46:52 PM
The nice response I got to some Shrinky Dink pendants I posted inspired me to make some Shrinky Dink rings to match.  A couple of these pendants were in an earlier post, but all of the rings are new.

The weather is still cloudy here, so the pics are not that great, but I'll try to get new ones up when it's sunnier.

Above:  A little action shot just for scale.  The red dots continue around the ring.

Above:  This one is my favorite!

Above:  Colors on the ring and pendant are identical. No idea why they look different in the pic.

Above:  Stargate earth sign, apparently (or so says the friend I made them for) : p

Hope you like them!  Comments are always appreciated.

2  Shrinky Dink Pendant-palooza (several pics) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by CraftyPirateGirl on: March 19, 2007 11:35:47 AM
Underhill940's great post here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=155969.0  inspired me to gather up the shrinky dink pendants that are drifting around my desk for a little photo shoot.

I found that I was forever looking at my doodles and thinking they would make cute pendants/charms, only to find I couldn't draw them exactly the same way twice, so I've started keeping little pre-cut and hole-punched pieces of shrink plastic at my desk so that I can doodle on them instead.

This is what I found/got around to photographing this morning:

Above:  The first two pendants on the top row are a chinese dragon symbol.  The second one is on clear plastic.  The first pendant on the bottom row is for a friend and is apparently an earth symbol from Stargate.

NOTE:  None of the pendants are flaking, it's just cloudy out today, so I had to take pics indoors using a flash.  I'll try to get better pics up when the weather clears.

Thanks for looking!

3  My Latest Shrinky Dink Bracelet and Earrings ACTION SHOT ADDED in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by CraftyPirateGirl on: March 16, 2007 02:08:45 PM
I actually did these a while ago, but it has taken me forever to get a pic. These are my first multi-part pieces and they were really fun to make.

4  Re: The Pringles Can Fill-Er-Up Challenge 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by CraftyPirateGirl on: February 08, 2007 11:20:52 AM
I got my package from SakanaSea today! Sorry for the dark pic.  It's cloudy out today and my dining room in not the best photography studio.

I love the way she decorated the can!  Inside I found (clockwise from top left):

*An awesome felt crown so that I can make other people more aware of my princess-ness (hehe....I don't like to let people forget),

*super cute pink felted heart earrings (I'm wearing them now)

*a black tie pouch containing awesome pirate shrinky dink jewelry and crocheted rings  (all of the pouches rock!)

*a blue and gold tie pouch containing fabulous button bracelets,

*a blue and red tie pouch containing 3 awesome clay magnets (bunny penguin and fish.  I LOVE them!)

*great purple beads that I am planning to make ito earrings PLUS an awesome red scary face bead made by her younger brother (yay for family participation!)

*a sweet and very warm fleece kitty hat.  I have wanted one of these for months, but I never had time/fabric to make one!

*and last, but certainly not least, a terrific blue and green necklace with a sheep on it "in case of emergency, " SakanaSea says.  Yay!  You would be surprised how often I think a sheep necklace will come in handy.

Thank you for being such a great partner, SakanaSea!!!  I love everything!

Thanks for organizing this super fun swap, silentdementia!
