1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Spiderman spiderman does whatever a spider can.. on: October 29, 2007 09:46:15 AM
did you do that with Fabric paint? I've been on a fabric paint frenzy the last couple of days, between working on my zip up hoodie and onesies for my son to be.
yup i used fabric paint. i squished it out onto a plate and painted with a brush
you think a sharpie will last? in the rain? or no
so far she's worn it on a couple of raining days, i think it's because it's on the faric paint and not on the fabric itself

I have little nit-picky crap that I could say about the way you wrote it,  but that would make me sound pretentious.  Anyone who saw it and didn't know anything about the character set would find it grand.  Anyone who knew the characters would nit-pick about your handwriting.   I do that in English, too, though.

?
?

That's how it looks typed.  (I hope people can see that.  Macs can, at least.)

I hate to say this, but I'd recommend you check your sources.  I'm not sure that says family.  I don't really recognize that lower character.

ok. well the words orginally used actually mean household. in chinese it's pronounced

jia ting

but the two words fluffybaka gave means clan which is more like family. (pronounced Jia Zu, if you ever want to impress anyone!!) hahah sorry for being picky, but i love your characters, pretty good for a first time, chinese characters are hardcore!

hahaha do you have a reason for the chiense words? cus currently they mean teeth, buy and add... hahah unless it sounds like something in english.. ya mai jia? bu otherwise i love them! that eye is to die for! but umm how long did it take you? and have you washed them yet?

hhehe, my parents own a kung fu school and I know some chinese, sooo I'm not one of those crazy american girls that write meaningless chinese words everywhere. >_> Though I'm dying to write a shirt that says "This stupid white lady doesn't know chinese, laugh at her"
annywayy
It means "jamaica"

Smiley

I'm thinking of trying to pant over it or spray over it with a fabric sealer, I also heard the vinegar and water help to set some colors. Cheesy I just died my hair red yellow and green too. XD

oh! haha i think you meant to put it the other way around! yeahhhhh. right now it reads ya mai jia instead of jia mai ya but good for you on the chinese! ahaha well if you want to say that here's that phrase...

"This stupid white lady doesn't know chinese, laugh at her"

zhe bai ren zhen sha, bu ming bai zhong wen! haha zhen hao xiao.

ok directly that means this white person is truely dumb, doesnt understand chinese. haha thats really funny!

I dunnoi if thats what you want but it's here for anyone else who wants that phrase in chinese!
