I made these little guys the other day... I used a drawing of mine to trace onto fabric with a textile marker (since I don't have a gocco....Boo hiss! I neeeeed one!!!)

I just traced the image onto the green fabric, cut it out, then cut out some patterned fabric for the backs, sewed 'em up real quick, and voila! I gave one to my friend that I went to visit in Annapolis yesterday. She squealed when she saw it! 

I was bored today and felt like making something (I haven't in a while! Eek!), so I opened up my craft "junk" drawer.... its got all sorts of odds and ends in it, like felt scraps, bags of ribbon scraps, buttons, marbles, feathers....all the good stuff!  Anyway, I came across a baggie filled with vintage Hallmark "friendship buttons" (What are they? I have no idea. Something from the 80s, no doubt! But they're cute!). I've been trying to think of something to make with them, and have been coming up blank all the time! Today, I was especially determined, and I whipped up these!



I had sososoooo much fun making them! They were super-quick and easy, and the possibilities are endless! I plan on making a whole bunch of these! I think the alligator one is my favorite! My mom likes the ice cream one, so she might be getting one similar to that for Mother's Day....shhhh! Don't tell her! 

I've been meaning to make a few paintings, and I FINALLY got around to it today. The Tea Party started as a drawing I did a while back, and I thought it would look nice on canvas! I left the birds in pencil, but I'm thinking about going over them with a black paint-marker. Can't decide. The second started out as just bunnies, but then I was feeling a little evil, so I drew that mysterious tail sticking out of a bush for fun...
