I have those same bedsheets. I made then into a dog bed though... I love the dress, it looks like it fits very well.

I don't use patterns, what I did was cut out a huge rectangle, ( I forget how big exactly, all I remember is it took less than 4 yards to make the whole dress) and I sewed the rectangle into a tube, then cinched the top to my waist measurement, sewed it to the top, then cut two slits in either side and added darts to make it almost full.

That's so cool, I think using patterns are convenient but they take away the originality of the garment. Plus, every time a try to use a pattern it never turns out.

that's super cute, I really like the purple. I really like the dress itself, did you use a pattern for the skirt part?
