1  Sock Puppet Madness in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by ChanPai on: November 18, 2006 09:50:40 PM
A friend of mine at work saw me cross stitching and complaining about a knitting project at the same time. Assuming I was crafty, he said, "If I paid you, would you make me a sock puppet? 2  Tarot Tote-- First post! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ChanPai on: November 11, 2006 02:23:08 PM
Hello! I have been reading craftster for a while and secretly wanting to join but not having the courage to until I had something worthwhile to post. And now I do!

This is very similar to the playing card purse, but with tarot cards. I remembered in mid-October that Christmas was coming up and, since this is my first Christmas being married, people actually expect gifts from me (my family is weird). So, I started making gifts with stuff we had lying around. I don't use tarot cards anymore, and I love the pictures, so I didn't want to throw them out. This is what I came up with!

I apologize for the poor picture quality. The lighting near my computer is terrible, and I am using a built-in iSight camera.

It was not very much work at all, and I love it almost too much to give it away.  Sad
