21  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: Login Problems Anyone? on: August 02, 2005 09:56:05 PM
1) Same as above... each time I log in I have to delete my cookies.

2) Good ol, (or not so good...) Windows XP

3) I have this problem with Mozilla, my main web browser, but don't with Explorer which I have been using to access Craftster since the update.  It keeps me logged in FOREVERRRR.....

Thanks for always being so darned on top of things all the time, I have no idea how you do it!!  You deserve your own national holiday.   Grin
22  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: Snowball Cat Bed on: August 02, 2005 09:52:23 PM
Josiecat, I'm so glad you found a home for your bed!  What a beaautiful cat bed, and what a... flattering model kitty shot...  Roll Eyes

Sati, I am half way thru my cat bed, (the base is done and I started on the wall,) and I used cheap old Red Heart for my cats.  I love them, but come on, like they care if I go for the cheap stuff.  Plus, it had the colors I wanted.  (lime green and royal blue.)

As for the fun fur, for the base, making the LARGE model, I used one skein less of it than called for, and had some left over.  I'm hoping the wall will be the same.

Hope that helps!
23  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Black and White Swap Gallery on: August 02, 2005 12:41:41 PM
HEY, my digicam went mysteriously missing too... sounds like a conspiracy to me.  BUT don't worry, mmthompson, everything came safe and sound and I am going to borrow my mom's camera because one of the items I am dying to post "in action".  It's awesome!  Thanks so much for all of the cool goodies you sent me, and this post is...

...to be continued...

After I get pics taken.

Oh yeah, and everyone's stuff is awesome!!

My aunt and uncle have property in Coeur d'Alene, it's beauuuutiful there.  At least you'll have fun there, and the weather is supposed to be nice too!

26  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: are you a good uterus or a bad uterus? on: July 07, 2005 09:50:03 AM
Haha!  Goddessterri, my Google ads are for abortion clinics in India, (not really that funny) and quality wooden COAT HANGERS!  Heh!

Crazycatladymel, did you put some kind of wire inside your uteri to help the fallopian (sp?) tubes stand up?

Sorry I missed you guys   Cry   And the new folks too...  But if Sunday's become our days, (ooh, we have a day now... are there any "Sunday" songs?  'Cause then we could have a song too.)  Anyway, if Sundays become our days I'll know to make them devoted just to you all.   Grin

Yeah, I can't believe that no one else posted about this problem... I think I'm an ANAL pattern follower and instead of just "going with it" I HAVE to know why something is the way it is and not change it... I guess that'll change when I get more comfortable with everything knitting.  So yeah, thanks for your help, I'll give it a shot!

Maybe later than 1?  I can make it earlier too, but Mabels is kind of an evening/night atmosphere type place.  I think.  Okay, so I don't know really, I just wanna sleep in....  Roll Eyes  Anyone else?

Thank you!  That does give me confidence to pick my socks back up!

And I just got an "I told you so" from my NON knitting fiance... he kept telling me to "just go with it and see what happens.  Worst comes to worst all you have to do is toad it, or gecko it, or watever the hell it's called."

Damn, I hate it when he's right.   Grin

Thank you again SO much!!!  I hope my socks turn out as well as yours did!
