Aak! It's a nation wide epidemic! Both of the Joanns I go to, (one next to work and one next to home) are run by old rude people who sigh and roll their eyes every time you ask for directions. But I keep on going 'cause of the mailing list cupons.... luckily I know the stores well enough now that I can navigate them on my own.
When I want to browse, I go to Michaels 'cause they are cleaner and more organized, and I don't get overwhelmed as fast. But same thing, I don't dare ask any employee any type of question. What's up with that? I work at Office Depot, and we would get fired in no time if our customer service skills sucked.
When I have QUESTIONS, I go to CRAFSTER!!!
So, luckily, I have managed to build the perfect crafting routine that fills all of my most inner crafting needs.
