Mmmm... Johnny Depp.... I love the pillow idea!  Imagine sleeping with Johnny Depp by your side every night.  Kiss

Wow, they have such beautiful colors!  Great resource, thanks!  I really wish mom to be would just find out the sex... she's really into natural child births, all the way down to no ultra sounds!

But I love the colors this yarn comes in, maybe I'll start on the cat bed for my cats and wait 'till the baby's born to knit a boy or girl blanket.   Smiley

I'm ready to take on the BBBB for my boyfriend's soon to be born neice or nephew... But the problem is, not only do I not know if it's going to be a girl or boy, but the mom is DEFINATELY not a pastel, baby color type of mom.

I want to do the inside a lime green and the border a plumish bright purple.  So I'm looking for suggestions on brands of yarn in this color that will still be super soft like the baby yarns are.  I don't care if it's sport or worsted weight, I dont mind knitting with one or two held together.

Also, I'd love to hear what you all think about the color combo.  Do you think the purple would make it too girly or the green make it to boyish?  THANKS!!

Woah, what an improvement!  I have about a kajillion goofy t's I never wear because they're too baggy and yucky... I'd love to know what you did!  (One of my fave's I'd like to rennoveate has the wicked witch from the west on it)

I also have some concert t's I won't wear for the same reason.  Sweet!  New wardrobe, here I come!!!

BeepyCat:

Very cute!  I love everything about it!  I'm usually not too fond of pinky girly dresses, I was never a floofy kid myself, but this one is different!  It's simple and clean and modern which makes up for what could be a pink overload.

AND I think it's awesome that you gave your neice exactly what she wanted instead of trying to talk her into something else!  I think it's great when people really take kids' opinions to heart.  I'd LOOOVE to see you ad a post with your neice wearing the dress!!!

Aak!  It's a nation wide epidemic!  Both of the Joanns I go to, (one next to work and one next to home) are run by old rude people who sigh and roll their eyes every time you ask for directions.  But I keep on going 'cause of the mailing list cupons.... luckily I know the stores well enough now that I can navigate them on my own.

When I want to browse, I go to Michaels 'cause they are cleaner and more organized, and I don't get overwhelmed as fast.  But same thing, I don't dare ask any employee any type of question.  What's up with that?  I work at Office Depot, and we would get fired in no time if our customer service skills sucked.

When I have QUESTIONS, I go to CRAFSTER!!!

So, luckily, I have managed to build the perfect crafting routine that fills all of my most inner crafting needs.  Smiley

Haha I like em'.  Nice and creepy, just the way refrigerator magnets should be.  But I think my favorite is the one on the top that looks  like a bunch of bugs or something.  They remind me of the Cooties from that game where you have to assemble bug bodies we used to play when we were kids.

What kind of magnets did you use?  Seems like they'd have to be pretty buff to hold wood circles.

Bagheraa:

I love it!  It's the black and white trend that's "in" this summer, but with a twist!

But I have to know... which was the pillowcase and which was the skirt?  Don't know if I'd rather have ants crawling under my head while I'm sleeping, or crawling around in my pants!

Wow, very cool.  I wouldn't even have noticed those were ties if you hadn't told me.
