201  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Have You Done McCall's 2662 or 2514? Come Here! on: January 14, 2007 07:46:55 PM
I got McCall's 2662 and 2514 at the thrift store. I really need to make them soon, my dad has been asking me to make him dust covers for two years. But the problem is, the patterns don't have the finish size or the amount of fabric needed.

If anyone has done these I really need to know the finishing size and amount of fabric for:

2662
Monitor Cover
Printer Cover
Keyboard Cover
Covered File Boxes
In Out Box

2514
Serger Cover
Sewing Machine Cover
Monitor Cover
Keyboard Cover
CPU cover
Printer Cover

If anyone knows how I can find out the measurments please message.
202  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Fusible Fleece? on: January 11, 2007 12:16:10 PM
My sister wants me to make her new covers for her rocking chair. On the pattern it says I need FUSIBLE FLEECE, (Its to put it on the wrong side of the fabric.) I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THAT IT. I know what fusible interfacing is, and wonder if it might be like that, but thicker. maybe for an extra pattern. Also the patter has those buttons that make the padding dip in, so could it be for added suport so the buttons dont rip through or something.
