1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Where to look for handbag notions? on: December 17, 2007 10:29:25 PM
Hi! I'm just wondering what kind of brick-and-mortar stores I would look at to find handbag notions. I live in a small town, and I'm heading to the city this week to finish getting my supplies for Christmas, so I need to know what kinds of stores to look at. Would they sell them at fabric stores? Or would I have to find a more crafts-oriented store? I know it sounds like a strange question, but I don't have the time left to wait for supplies in the mail, so I'm freaking out trying to figure out where to get the items I need. I honestly have no idea. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Ah! I love that link! I'm about to work on a purse for Christmas, and didn't want to resort to getting someone else to make my lining! IT'S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE! Thanks for sharing that!
3  CANADA / Manitoba / Handbag Notions in Winnipeg? on: December 17, 2007 10:13:19 PM
Hello Winnipeg Craftsters! Where oh where in your loverly city would I find handbag notions? See, I'm from Steinbach and I'm not able to get into Winnipeg as often as I would like, so when I go on Thursday I'd like to know one good place to look, instead of having to look everywhere and wasting my trip. Would a store like Fabricland have anything of the sort? I don't even know where to begin! HALP PLEASE!!

If this swap is going to wait another month or so before it starts up, I would like to join another swap in the meantime... but I really don't want to miss out on this swap! I've started collecting things and everything... I'm so conflicted! Embarrassed Cry

I checked the help section... this is all I saw:

If you've started a thread and you realize that you started it in the wrong board, you can click the Move Topic button and choose the correct folder to move it to.
Is there a move topic button?? LOL I don't know, but hopefully it helps you.

Hmm, I thought there was instructions in the Swap Organizer guide thing, it was for how to move your swap to the 'completed swaps where sign-up period has closed' area, but I'm sure it works the same way... I'll go check.

I think you need to move this swap to the main swap folder... it might get more attention there...?

This swap is still so tempting... the other swap I want to do seems like it won't be starting for a while... if I could send fast enough for this swap, maybe I could still do the other one... but I don't want to risk it...  Cry*conflicted*

Are we going to do this? I've been collecting things all week, just the thought of this swap has made me more aware of my surroundings.
Me too!! I really can't wait...
