61  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Red Magnolia Flower on: December 04, 2004 09:05:59 AM
Is this even what a magnolia looks like? Oh well, I like it. Excuse the unexcellent pictures, I took them!  Tongue Also, the back doesn't look funky like that and the pin doesn't hang over the edge of the backing. *sigh* I should take better pictures.

62  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Would You Buy These? on: November 27, 2004 01:01:53 PM
I have had people tell me I should sell these, but would you buy them? How much would you pay? Also, sry if you already saw them in finished projects, but I thought this should go in a different catergory.

These are 2 examples. They are fully lined and dimensions about 4 inches by 5 inches. Thanks!

I love my little bag! I named it Orange Garden, as in the fruit.  Wink It has hand-beading, although it's hard to see it well in the picture. Comments, please!

This is it...

And this is just to show the lining [and my fingers]...

What do you think?
Check out my other 2 posted little bags lower down, too!

66  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Messenger Bag... I'm taking drastic measures. on: August 23, 2004 07:18:22 AM
alright. i want to make a messenger bag. Smiley but before you all rush off to post messages like "why don't you try the search feature" and "there's a great tutorial on here... somewhere..." i'll have you know i have been looking and looking and all i can find is that tutorial with the red bag which isn't really what i had in mind.  Undecided at all.  i want to make a bag more like naked ninja's, to give you an idea of the style. and pockets are good. so if there really is a good tutorial out there, would someone please give me a link? or just post one here, even? last request, please don't bump me out of the finished projects board. see, the people HERE are the people who might know how to help me. and that is my plea. lolol  Cheesy
67  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / racerback from t-shirt -- tutorial available, project pics are back too. on: August 08, 2004 09:50:08 AM
yay! i made this all by myself! i was getting tired of looking for a tutorial like i wanted, so i just got up from the computer and figured it out for myself. i used a stitch i hadnt tried before.. it is black supposedly decorative stitching and i might do the same thing to the neckline. so i had a little trouble w/ the stitching, but im still very happy! any and all comments please!

68  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / i want to redo a t-shirt, but... on: July 27, 2004 04:31:10 PM
i want to do reconstruction work on some t-shirts, but i dont know how exactly to sew on them. so i just use a normal straight stitch? or sometimes people say a stretch stitch, btu i dont know what that means.  i dont haev a serger so no need to suggest anything from that.  yeah.
69  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / you can't iron stretch terry... on: June 09, 2004 12:42:48 PM
i was all set to sew a short, casual robe out of this really soft black stretch terry (it just said terry on the bolt, but it stretches. i did not think that was a big deal) and i bought the pattern, fabric, etc.  but i realized i forgot to get the washing instructions so i went back, wrote them down, and guess what? you can't iron it! and in my pattern you have to iron on fusible interfacing (not to mention other times when it says press but i think i could skip.)  so now what? do i have to abandon this project? Cry Cry Cry
70  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / anybody know anything about GLAZE? on: June 08, 2004 02:32:21 PM
Huh i want to know how to make/use a glaze for walls or on wood furniture.  i know they do this on trading spaces sometimes and i think one time they said it was 80% paint 20% water but im not sure... and thats all i know.
