Hey, westcoastribbon, what street in Victoria?  This is my first christmas here and even though I work in retail, I still love to see all the decorations!

Welcome to Victoria!  I think it is Wollaston (not sure of the spelling) in Esquimalt.  Closer to Christmas the local paper puts out a map to tour to all the best decorations.  There's some really good ones so try and keep an eye out for it.

I've seen them made into snowflakes but don't know how it's done.  There's a street, here in Victoria BC Canada, that goes all out to decorate a Christmas and hangs the snowflakes from the trees.  We don't get much snow in this part of Canada.  I'll try and find out how it's done if anyone's interested.

I'm not a good artist but I can donate some ribbon.  Would you like some pink ribbon?  You could use it in your art projects for breast cancer patients or to gift wrap. The best advice I can give you is make something with alot of love and screw her if she can't see what a wonderful thing it is to have someone care enough to make her something. You can't please everybody- especially the ones who don't want to be pleased.
