11  SD13 Sized Doll Dress in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SilverWing on: January 04, 2011 07:34:49 PM
So, I was going to post this on the sewing general board, but there didn't really seem to be a place to post finished stuff, so I figured here was the next best place. This is a Grace Faery pattern. I wanted to make a new summery dress (posting late, I know. I'm really bad about making stuff and never posting, only lurking, so posting more of my crafts in one of my resolutions!) for my Dollzone ball-joint-doll, Ivy. The boots are from Mimiwoo and the belt and scarf are from Dollheart. So here it is. Smiley

The beadpoint looks really cool! I may have to try that sometime. Smiley

I finally finished my totebag.  >.< I'm slow, but I'll get there. This was one of those projects where if it could go wrong, it did, lol. All the way down to sewing the handles on to wrong side (would have been between the outer fabric and lining when I turned it right side out). And I totally forgot to stabalize the embroidery, so it bunched up the fabric like crazy around the design. I'm still getting the hang of embroidering. I don't think my friend will notice too much, though. At least I hope not. It's an Urban Threadz design I've been holding onto for awhile with the intent of making this bag, so here it finally is, at least.

1. Tote for Marisa
Yea!! Smiley

The flash masked most of the bunching, but it's actually much worse. Sad

Ok, guys, prepare to be amazed! I received from Lindag35 and she's fabulous! I'm still marveling over all the amazing little details. Smiley  I had asked for a punk-ish poppet, and Linda delivered! She also seriously reminds me of Nana, the anime girl in my avatar, so either Linda did her homework really well, or she just totally got what I was hoping for! May I introduce the newest poppet rockstar! (warning: lots of pictures!)

Here she is with her awesome pink start studed guitar!

Her rockstar outfit, black denim skirt and amazing jacket and super cool halter with corset laced back! I love this jacket! I want it for me, lol!

The back of the jacket, this is so cool!

Better shot of the jacket and all it's detailing!

better view of her skirt and halter. Note the awesome boots!

Detail shot of her arm tatoo and painted nails and bracelet

Close up of her awesome blue eyes and super cute freckles! Smiley

Second top - corset style. It has tiny silver stud accents!

Pink leopard party dress with black lace trim - so fun!

Skully evening wear!

Cherry print bikini!! She's all set for summer! Smiley

She also has an awesome earring in one ear, but as it's magnetic, and my front door is metal, it apparently leapt off of her head when I went out to take pictures. >.< It has since been returned to her, lol.

And as if all that weren't enough spoilage, she also made this adorable little fabric basket to hold her wardrobe!

Thank you again, Linda, I just love everything, she's amazing!  Cheesy

Group shot!

Super cute plushies!

Thank you again vampedangel14!

15  Re: Fill A Purse Swap 5 in The Swap Gallery by SilverWing on: March 18, 2010 07:45:51 PM
I recieved from Ariethine so here are my goodies!

She sent a super cute bag full of pocket goodness and a cool keyfob thing so my keys won't get lost, matching wallet, two cute zipper pouches, and a bunch of other goodies. Everything is very cute and very well made.  Thank you, Ariethine!

Also, here's some pics of what I sent Ariethine.  She's been busy busy:

She wanted a gothic lolita purse with lots of pockets and zipper close, so I tried to fit all of that without going overboard on the frills. There are four outside pockets and six inside, two zippered. I also put a loop inside to clip her keys to.  I also made a matching wallet and coin/jewelry pouch that she'd wisted.

The bag became something of a monster to finish because I had some time issues, but I had been pleased with the way everything turned out. Ah, well. Sad

Here they are at last!  Later than intended, but up at last.  ^^  Krafty_Karasu sent me the most fantastic goodies!

I love anime/Japanese culture/cute things so:
First, the ADORABLE little happy marshmallow and suchi roll! The marshmallow made me giggle out loud!

Again, I love Japanese culture, and I also like windchimes, so she sent me this fabulous little Maneki Neko (lucky cat!) hangy!  He's rockin' out in my cubicle!

In case anyone didn't know, Krafty_Karasu is a jewelry GODDESS! She has mad skillz ya'll!

I love the Kingdom Hearts games, so she made me paupa fruit earrings!

I love my Craftster username, and I love wings, and silver and blue are two of my fav colors (she's insanly great and using multiple facts in each project!) so she made me silver feather earrings. Smiley

These seriously amaze me.  I worked an internship at Walt Disney World, and the BEST time I had there was working the Mickey's Not So Scary parties because I got to be the Seven of Spades and hand out candy!  She made me spade earrings with seven strands each!  I am in love with these.

This is the most gorgeous deep blue choker and earring set, perfect for work AND wearing out!

I adore steampunk stuff, and green and blue colors are favorites of mine, so she made me this pin!  I'm utterly in awe!  I have no idea where she found such awesome gears to use, but they're fabulous!

I love to cook/bake, but I'm still learning some, and again I love Japanese themes.  This is probably the coolest thing in my kitchen now.  She crosstitched little sushi rolls and my name onto a hotpad!

Another Maneki Neko only this time it's crossstitched on a bookmark!  The picture doesn't do the colors justice! She used glittery (I like sparkly stuff) green (fav. color) thread all over it, too!  She came up with the Japanese luck symbol pattern herself!  I'm amazed!

And last but in NO way least: I love blue, I love Japanese themes, I love mythical creatures, and I love bags!  All in one beautiful bag!  It's covered in Asian styled pheonix, and dragons!  The fabric is just beautiful!

Again, thank you so much Krafty_Karasu! I'm amazed by everything! I love it all! Smiley Smiley Smiley

Let's kick up this gallery a notch, shall we? RockDragon sent the most wonderful stuff! I had her craft for my best friend, who is a rockin' trumpet player. She needed some mute/mouthpiece bags, and RockDragon delivered! The two bigger ones are padded, which is fabulous because trumpet mutes dent fairly easily, and three drawstring ones too! There's also the most fabulous piano key pillow! I almost stole it, but she wrote a note to my friend telling her what all was in the package, so I had to send it along, lol. Wink She also included little monogramed boxes for BOTH of us, as well as a handmade pair of treble cleff earrings! They're so cute! And candy to top it all off!

The group!

Beautiful little gold shiny hand painted boxes for each of us!

Close up of the cute little earrings!

And the softest, cutest piano pillow ever!

Thank you again, RockDragon! I know she'll love everything!

I received from Amigurl55!!!! She sent me the sweetest little Asian inspired poppet ever! I love love love her!

Here she is in her fabulous Hello Kitty yukata! (brightly, more fun colored summer weight kimono!) Perfect for strolling down through Harajuku, but still appropriate for festivals and shrine visits!

And an extra (and adorable!) little sundress is the prettiest fabric! The accents are shiny gold!

Close up of her little eye jewels and fabulously rainbow eyes! I think she must have hand painted them?

Close up of her ring jewel!

She also sent a little bag of small bands to put on my bobbin threads to keep them from unwinding when not in use! Best idea ever! (How did you know I'm constantly tangling up my bobbins, though?)

Thank you so much, amigurl55! I love her!

O_o

baby...hedgehogs?  I have never seen one in my entire life.  I think that would be a cuteness overload!

They are, lol!  They were so tiny when they were born, too. A friend of mine said they looked like little hairbrushes!  Here are some of their pics.  Are these on topic since this is a fact about me? (I did put them on my list!)

The little ones at three weeks old. Mama did not like having pictures made.

All the babies at about a month

One of the little girls in a ball at about a month!

One of the other little girls poking her head out to say hi! She's  nearly 5 weeks here.  Mom claimed this one, I think!

So apparently when I tried to post this last night something went wrong.  >.< Hopefully this time it will work.

Introducing Lynn, the air pilot! You all must not listen to Seraphina_de_Sangre when she says her package wasn't great, because I am in love with this little lady, and she is so incredibly well made!  She's wonderful! And she arrived with a whole wardrobe and a friend to boot! She said her flight wasn't too long, and she's settling in nicely!  She's the first poppet for me that hasn't had to run off to live with somebody else, so I'm very thrilled to have her!

The lovely captain in her piloting duds, complete with fancy boots, corset, and goggles!

A closeup of her incredible jewelry!  I absolutely love it!

Her flight goggles.  These things still amaze me, they're so cool!

Her lovely red dress and top hat, for a night on the town. Smiley

This girl knows how to accessorize: sweet star studded headband and cute little black shoes.

Her bathing suit, just in time for the warming weather.

Purple sun suit. Somebody must have told her how hot the summers can get here!

Her copilot, the adorable penguin Sebastian!

And the whole lot! She also brought me some adorable yarn, cute fabric, tons of eyes and noses and dolly joints (which are missing from the picture as they are already in the sewing room!) eyelashes (which I've got to practice with!) and more iron on stars for decorating!

I love everything! Thank you again, Seraphina_de_Sangre, and don't feel like you shorted anybody, because I feel quite spoiled! This was probably my favorite swap in a looong time!
