1  Re: Chocoholics Unanimous Rd 4 Gallery of Sweet Chocolatey Indulgence! in The Swap Gallery by pup_p_love on: February 20, 2009 05:43:37 PM
Here are the gorgeous items I received from LunaKitten. Sorry that it has taken me so long to post them but I have been very busy with work (kindergartens wearing me out!).

I was very lucky. The first item was this fantastic box she made for me to use at work. She even painted a 'pigusus' on it for me! (I love pigs and my dogs name is Pegus).

I also received these wonderful chocolate magnets. My husband thought they were real when I opened them!

I also got some brownie scented bath bombs. I can't wait to use these.

Plus a cute brown bracelet made from wooden beads.

She also sent me a junior mint lip balm shich I can't wait to use!

And finally the chocolate haul!! I was so lucky! Unfortunately my husband got into the white lindt before I took the photo and I couldn't help eating the peanut butter m&ms (my fav!!). Sorry!

Thanks so much LunaKitten!! You have been such a fantastic swap partner. I just hope you like mine as much as I adore yours!!  Wink

2  Christmas Tea Towel - Embroidered Mouse on Decorations in Needlework: Completed Projects by pup_p_love on: December 30, 2008 01:33:08 AM
I made this tea-towel for my brother-in-laws parents who are currently visiting from Canada. I wanted to get them something small for Christmas so this is what I made.

I got the mouse picture from a free colouring book website (sorry I can't remember the site) and the baubles are drawn free-hand. I am really pleased with the way it turned out, although some people thought it was a cat not a mouse!

Comments and critisms welcome  Smiley

3  Cute Embroidered Christmas Ornaments in Needlework: Completed Projects by pup_p_love on: December 22, 2008 12:13:02 AM
Hi!
Here are some photos of some ornaments I made as a thank you present for a parent who helped out in my class (I'm a teacher) all year. I am very grateful for her dedication and help and I thought these would make a more thoughtful gift than a box of chocolates.

I think both of the patterns are ones from Annie Oakleaves. They turned out really cute! They are both personalised with her children's names. This was the first time I have ever attempted to make my own ornaments.

Elsa is approximately 25cm/9.8inches long. I hope you like her  Smiley

Here is a wolf that I completed awhile ago. I love the way he turned out and I thought that Id share it =). He is all hand-sewn. He took a while to sew because of all the pieces that make him up. Hope you enjoy him =)

10  First embroidered tea towel - Cats in the Kitchen in Needlework: Completed Projects by pup_p_love on: October 07, 2008 12:33:53 AM
Hi everyone,
Although I signed up for craftster ages ago - I only just came back online recently. For the past few months I have been experimenting with embroidery. Recently I had the courage to complete my first embroidered tea towel for some one. It will be a christmas gift for my sister. She loves cats and has a red kitchen so I tried to incorporate these into the towel. Also her husband is french-canadian so I had to add the 'bon appetit'.
