That's right, over a year after I started this thread, and I'm returning only to say:
I'm still not done!

I have only a bit left to sew together (that's what has taken me so long-I loathe piecing my projects together!) and then blocking, so hopefully it will be done by this weekend so maybe, just maybe, I can wear it while it's still kinda sorta cold outside.

Thanks peps, I needed that encouragement.  It stinks realizing that I'm still not making very much even tho I have a degree...and the bills to show for it!  I'm temping right now, but I'm trying to find a "real" job so I can start moving up the ladder.

Hi chillsession!  I'm coming back to the project too, after finishing all of the yoyos and then stopping once I needed to attach them all.  Hopefully, new progress pics soon!

I finished yesterday too!  I'm back from a long crafty hiatus as I job-searched and began my post-college life.  I hope to have the pics up by the end of this week!

Today I was too lazy to go out and buy the butter I usually use and so I just used what my boyfriend had bought: 48% less fat, SALTED butter.  Ugh.  But I was determined to work.

2 hours, 3 dozen disgusting cookies that I threw away and a second degree burn later, and  I decided to give up.

C'est la vie!

Never use 50% less fat butter to bake cookies with.

I only have a sleeve left to go!!!!!  I bought these awesome glass buttons on etsy that match my green.  They're not crazy, but I think they'll fit really well.

Hopefully I have it done before I move in a week!
