1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: A TON of Reusable Sandwich Baggies! on: July 12, 2009 04:09:24 PM
I had the same problem when I made some snack bags and sandwich wraps for my daughters to use for school.  I opted for rip-stop nylon as the interior fabric and a cotton on the outside.  I haven't heard anything negative about the use of nylon (yet) so all is well.  The nylon is water-resistant, not water-proof, so we have stuck with mostly dry items.  They wash and line dry very well!

I love the idea of zippers.  I used velcro and the crumbs in the loops drive me nuts!!!!!!!

Wow!  I wish I could look at a blouse or dress and see what you did.  Fabulous job and so creative!  Love them both.  I think the second one is called a cut-out handle bag; but that's too long to say.  So, let's just call it cute!

alvan...................you should definitely start up an internet shop.  Your work is amazing and your attention to detail is superb.  People will  pay for the uniqueness and the craftsmanship. You have inspired me with many of your styles and I really consider your bags to be works of art.  Good luck with whatever you decide!!!!!!
