You will have great joy telling the first person who asked where you bought it (because it is the kind of off-beat stylish item less crafty people cannot visualize independently, but once seen must have) that you made it.
Awesome job. Aren't kids a riot? The only thing I can possibly think of that would add to the alien-ness of your adorable kitty is some antennae. Then again, they might just get ripped off. Love the devil ears. "Devil ears." I just like saying it.
Okay, the dress is fabulous. But your daughter is even more so! What a cute girl, and looking great! She is so lucky to have such a talented mom. Don't be surprised if your friends with girls start dropping hints soon ...
It doesn't look that simple to me! Simple to me is a tube dress made out of that pre-smocked stuff at Wal-Mart. You've accomplished a great deal more than that, and I'm sure you learned a lot during the process. Your dress is great, and you look great in it! Congratulations!
The polka-dot version is totally couture. I love it, and wouldn't be surprised if someone eventually turns up in something very like it on Oscar night! You have real talent, and I hope you continue to explore design.
Amazing job. I've been thinking a lot about doing a mural for my daughter's room (she's moving out of mommy's room after her first birthday next month), but I found the whole thing a little intimidating. From looking at your results, I can see that it just might be do-able. How did you transfer the design to the wall? Did you use a projector, or a grid, or (yikes) freehand it?
